Red Amalgam

After beating one of the bosses in a mod-run, I opened the box to choose a rare card. The Amalgam that was in the box had its eyes done in red (much like it would have during a totem fight on the enemy side), and usually it doesn't happen. Has anyone seen this happen? Is it a glitch, or does it have some significance?

Was it "Amalgam?" ? There's a unique card that disguises as other cards, notable as the impostor by its red eyes and the fact that the creatures name ends with a question mark. It is elusive though, don't expect it to stay hiding as an amalgam.
