ARG hook in Kaycee's Mod?

Okay, so, I don't normally care about this carp- I just want to play the Leshy endless mod thing- but I wanted to mention this for the people who do that ARG stuff.

So, after beating the ultimate challenge boss in Kaycee's Mod (heave ho), I closed the game mid-credits. Then when I opened the game again, it resumed with the miniature walking up and off the map since I'd already beaten the boss. Then it pops up a few buttons- Clear, Close and Open Log or something. Then when you open the log it brings up a text file.

Sooooo I dunno if it's just a literal log or something associated with the beta of Kaycee's Mod or another fake-out rife with ARG nonsense.

Just wanted to point it out in case (somehow) nobody else in that community had discovered it. (Feel free to delete this topic if someone else mentioned it earlier).

Well I id that and got no button props - just a blank table and the game in a seemingly softlocked state, forcing me to end the run and lose with 4 bosses defeated

It sounds like you got the dev console when you found the post-ending issue, which would make sense. If you are doing kaycees through the original beta code, those "clear, close, open log" options are almost constantly on screen throughout the run (or at least they are on mine because my game seems to constantly throw a non-essential unity error code). While i can't 100% say it has no connection to the ARG considering the ARG has covered things as oddly specific as the number of planks used on something, im pretty sure that one is just the dev console doing it's thing when something breaks.

About that plank thing, according to a talk Flemmonade had with the Dan himself, that apparently wasn't the intended solution, rather something to do with floor textures. You might wanna check his video on that topic if you're especially interested in it.
