How do I get the Caged Wolf card to reappear?

I opened the drawer and added it to my deck, but I died on the run before I was able to whittle its defense down and free it.

I've had five runs since going through the motions, but the card isn't in the drawer and hasn't reappeared in any runs. Am I "soft-locked" out of progression?

That's really strange... If you die before the caged wolf-card does, it's supposed to be in your starting hand on the next run, same as the stoat, the bullfrog and such as like that. It does sound like you're soft-locked.

This forum really needs a section for bug reporting...

Maybe you did break it and just didn't notice? Have you checked the actual caged wolf statue in the room? That's what supposed to break once you kill the card version.

Following, as my SO just ran in to the same problem and can't get the stunted wolf card to reappear from killing the caged wolf. Died and restarted and still having the same issue. Wondering if this is a new glitch?

Edit: It fixed itself! You have to die again and wait until it's pulled back in to your deck. Didn't happen away, but popped out eventually.

I poked around in the save file after getting the caged wolf and the only references are in the current deck. I suspect that if you add 18 to the events completed list. That being said starting a new run should do it. (you can also add it to your current deck if you want.)
