Act 3 card from my CPU files. Will this really delete my file if I lose this card?
Seriously? I'm afraid to play just in case...

Haven't lost the card so I wouldn't know. Just don't play the card and you should be fine :)

Lol, no. It's read only. Steam would never allow a game to be sold on their platform that could actually delete your files as a game mechanic.

It creates a readme... where P03 ask you politly to delete it yourself for honour.

Well thank god because I did this and selected the oldest file on this computer which was desktop.ini, really did not want to see how that would mess up my computer, gave me a 4/4 so I won immediately though

I gave it a file that I didn't really care about, and I had to see if it would actually delete it so I let it die on purpose. It didn't delete it but it left a txt file named the same as the file I chose followed by "DELETED" which read:

At least... I tried to delete it. But it seems my powers of FILE ACCESS do not extend that far.
Play by the rules you agreed to. Delete it yourself.
Have an ounce of respect for the rules. Come on.

Since I didn't care about the file I did what he said and deleted it. After the battle he said: "Wow you actually deleted it, that's funny. What do you want, a reward?." I didn't actually get anything though. Still pretty cool.

LMFAO

i saw that the game was taking screenshots of gameplay, i also saw during that segment that it was actually reading filenames from the hard drive, then later said it would upload screenshots to the store page. I had a "hmmm how much of my adult folder could actually have been exposed to the public :adulterer:" moment of realization where I though .... no way.... but is it possible? no....

Actually it does delete, I've seen people lose and go back to check the file, and it's replaced by a file with the name {Name of File}DELETED

Literally doesnt delete the file - it makes a copy asking you to delete the og file for fun.

Literally made a file called "Delet this!" and I had to manaully trash it.

There are several games tat will mess with your files on steam.a few generate new image files in your download folders or make saves outside the specified game folder making it difficult to reset the game. Though the game I'm talking about will tell you where they are and ask you to move them back into a specific location back in the game folder it does have write permissions. Several more can too you just gotta be check first. It doesn't delete anything but your probably right about them not allowing games that actually will jeopardize the pc its run on.
There's an achievement locked to that I will tell you that.
