Where? I only have the normal Game Pass for PC and when I search for it on their store it tells me it is available tomorrow but with "Xbox Game Pass For Console" and doesn't let me grab it.

Do you just have the PC Game Pass or Ultimate? Still wants me to buy it and says coming tomorrow for Xbox. Ugh, I might just need to restart lol.

I don't have the official Game Pass app either for some reason it would not work for me so I have just been using the "Xbox Companion App" and used that to grab my Game Pass games on PC for example Crackdown 3, Sunset Overdrive etc. So I figured it would work for Blair Witch too. I dunno if that makes a difference.

I've just went to check as well, I am able to pre-load the game with my Xbox Game Pass, (not Ultimate as I don't have Xbox haha). I am using Xbox (beta) app though, so maybe that is the difference. Should work for you as well, unless there are some sort of region restrictions?

Ah that might be my issue, as the Microsoft Store is still telling me to just get it on Xbox. I tried to use the app and the beta for the new one did not work for me even though I am fully up to date. I guess I have to wait until Noon tomorrow and hope it lets me get it at all.

i also had that issue couldnt get game pass to work as it told me current version of windows wasnt compatable. Turns out there was an update but i had to search it on microsoft site calle 'Windows 1903'

Ah you're a lifesaver! I tried to update to 1903 the other day in Windows Update but it kept telling me my "device was not ready" yet. But doing a "1903 Manual Install" on Google got me what I think is the update. Thank you! Installing now.

A lot of people can't get the app to work because of Windows Update not wanting to kick everyone over to 1903. Which is why I had to use it to grab whatever I could find for PC Game Pass on there through the Xbox Companion App / Microsoft Store tab.

UPDATE: Updating to 1903 and then trying the app install again made it work and finally I could pre-load. Thanks for the idea again ParmaYeeter101!
