have you deleted the hidden files left over from deleting the mods ?
did you mod the game previously?
did you remove all the previous files before downloading?
did you simply update from an earlier version, where you might have had to go from a lower patch to a much higher patch? (like, going from patch 1.3 or 1.4 all the way to 2.11)
did you update (or do you keep updated) your graphics card drivers if you have a 2000, 3000 or 4000 series Nvidia graphics card?
if you modded, you should clear the mod fragments away with a cleaner.

Cyberclean. a basic little .batch file that clears away fragments of code that might have not been removed. 'CyberNuke' is the best, it gets rid of everything mod related.
if you did not remove any old files, you might try uninstalling then reinstalling (if you have the download speed and capability to do so)
if you just updated from an older version that was too old (like from 1.5 and below) it's probably better to just bite the bullet and uninstall then reinstall. the game has changed drastically since then and i remember people saying that updating from 1.2/1.3 and 1.4 had issues if you jumped too high up the patch numbers.
Nvidia have been adding much since the earlier versions of the game.
patch 1.5 was the last patch (iirc) where 'old gen' consoles (the ps4/ps4 pro, xbone) were supported. 1.62, they added things like dlss to the game for cards that could support it.
this is a reply from a similar thread ( not my answer so I cannot take the credit )
2.0+ they added much more like ray tracing and path tracing ect for the 3k and 4k Nvidia cards.
so yeah, if you have any of the cards, updates are probably in order.
oh, if you use keybinds (you like to change the in game default keys to other keys you prefer to use) be warned that you can't do that to the 'dash' button right now.
mapping 'dash' to the side mouse button also, causes crashes.
leaving keybinds on 'default' is currently best, for now.
and if you do not like 2.0+ yo can opt into the '1.63 Legacy' branch in the 'betas' menue in steam settings.
this will allow you to play the old 1.63 version. but you loose steam achevements and cannot play the expansion, Phantom Liberty. you also loose official support (tho folks here may be able to help, if they still also play legacy)
Im running the game on my 7700 XT and no issues. The only problem is sometimes a stutter when driving fast with bike or car
Go to settings, (the cog wheel top right corner) do a factory reset
After that go to Gaming tab, click Graphics, scroll down and restart shader cache
Restart PC and then try again
Then I deleted the saves, and I am able to go to the main menu and even create a new character. Then I saves the game. Quit. Tried to launch the game, and then the error came back again. *sigh*.
I deleted the new saves again through the saves' folder, yet when I tried launching the game is still crashing.
Honestly I'm still wondering why CDPR hasn't fix this issue, like it's almost more than two weeks after the issues were reported.
I genuinely feel bad for you. Is it really a graphics card issue? If you lived in the same street as me I would give you my old GTX 1660ti just to test the game (it is my backup card and works perfect)
Latest chipset driver? (for cpu, if it's AMD btw)
