[FIX] Unable to launch on Windows 11
I press the play button, it tries to launch but quits right away. No crash, nothing, just quits :( . Please help if you had such issues on Win 11 Home.

EDIT: This issue was fixed. It was due to incorrect installation of VC++ redistributables. These two files may be missing: msvcp140.dll, vcruntime140.dll .

Solution:
1. Go to Settings -> Apps -> App & features
2. Locate the VC++ files:
a. Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64) - <some version>
b. Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) - <some version>
3. Select Modify -> Repair (on both the executables above)
4. Now go to Steam -> Play
5. Enjoy!

What have you tried so far?

-verify files? (Steam)
-update video drivers? (If AMD GPU you may need to roll back)
-disable any mods?
-check for any Windows updates lurking in background?

You can also try launching game outside of the Steam overlay by going to the exe file wherever the game is installed. I use GOG so can't give more info than that.

I'd generally advise anyone on a fresh Windows install for example, one of the first things to install/download would be "Visual C++ Rollup Techpowerup". It install all Visual C++ dependencies from 2005 to 2022 in x86/x64 variants.
