Found 'a' solution/fix for game crashes
There are a lot of reports of people having problems with the game.
Most people report that the game keeps crashing right after or the begining of the loading screen of your save game.

I found 'a' solution that worked for me and i can't believe it solved the problem... i even did a friggin WIN install because the problem was driving me insane.

So... IF your game IS installed on an SSD/M.2 drive or anything like that:
Start the game > Go to Options > Gameplay and look for 'HDD Mode' and turn it OFF!
Look for 'Cross Save' also in the 'Gameplay Options' and set that to 'Off' aswell.

I can't believe this worked for me.

There are also reports of people using Wireless/Bluetooth Razer Mouse and there seems to be a conflict with the software from Razer and the game and if you bind anything to the 'Thumb buttons' the game crashes for them.

I don't even get that far. I get a flash of black screen then instant crash and flatline of the game. Plus, I already had those settings turned off, from day one.

I got it fixed and working again. I forced a reinstall of my graphic driver (RTX-4090), and that cured it apparently. Games running right now in the background as I type this.

I'm using 128GB RAM, on an NVMe 8TB with an i9-13900K/24GB and the game is now running perfectly again.

BIOS update fixed it for me. It used to crash after 2 to 30 minutes before. It never crashed again after the BIOS update. That was on an ASUS board. Hope this can help someone, if probably not everyone.

I'm also on an ASUS board. Hmm... coincidence or correlation?

This appears to be fixed in the recent update.

Thanks OP, my game stopped crashing after following your suggestion. The only time it crashes is when I leave quit the game which is something I rather deal with as oppose to reloading the game. Thanks a lot.

Well on my end, after following your post, my crashing only happens whenever I load a checkpoint after dying, or load a game, it becomes 50/50 that'll it'll crash or not. Did you ever find a definitive solution to yours.

Same, only after loading a game. On all my computers. Can't be denied, game is indeed broken under the hood somewhere. I don't think it's 50/50. It's extremely rare on my end and only happens after Act1. It just boils down to luck.

Just chiming in to say... I'm also on an Asus MB and updating the BIOS fixed the crashes for me. Just something to add to the data set.
