We are obviously not playing the same game.
And considering how fast the vehicles are with Rayfield Caliburn's top speed of 211mph/339km not everyone's specs can generate the map and NPC movements quickly enough from their spawning locations without any issues
And cars disappear even when walking around. I saw one car slowly phase out of existence, then the passengers kept driving for a few meters before they too disappeared. And they still don't know how to get around obstacles in the road. They just stop and wait forever.
The invisible walls are there for a reason. They are usually quest areas which you should not access by vehicle. I agree that they could have solved that better (e.g. by putting a visible barrier), but it is by no means a bug.
Most NPCs are just for atmosphere and have no specific purpose. If you expect that you can invite them all for dinner, you would probably need a NASA computer to run this game. I personally think they found a decent solution for letting the place look lively without overdoing it.
There is, however still a bug that lets you fall though NC. I recall it properly, it has happended to me every 300 in game hours or so. Sometimes more annoying, sometimes less, but nothing to seriously complain about.
Overall, the devs have done a lot to continously improve the game, same as they did with Witcher 3. Nothing we can say about the likes of Betheshda.
I cannot find a single thing in this game I wouldn't refund the game for, if I hadn't pre-ordered it many years ago. It's still the same broken, boring mess it was.
Something tells me that CP 2077 was your introduction to the Cyberpunk IP, since yes random cars having car bombs in them that go off while driving is /very/ suitable to Night City.
It does have all of these things still. The majority of people just don't notice the details.
Well with respect as much as I have championed CDPR for their efforts - I am playing a fresh save and I can tell you there is a monumental bug with Sasquatch that basically makes the fight non existent.
Feel free to google it if you need your validation.
But the game is still riddled with bugs. Distract Enemies failing to work after long periods of play - restart will fix it. Hair for V going Black with other chars such as Judy and Missy getting same thing - restart will fix it.
Sasquatch Bug? NOTHING will fix it ... i had to basically play like an idiot in order to get a fight out of her ... using distraction on the shields if you "takedown" BEFORE she breaks one she will be animated but if you take her down AFTER she breaks one she will stand there frozen and you can rail on her. I played Very Hard for a challenge and this really really ruined the boss fight.
LIke I get it people want to say well done CDPR they want to express gratification that they did what they did and the game is VASTLY improved.
But why make such a post? because clearly I must not be playing the same game either right? or the plethora of people sighting similar issues ...
The game is better - but it's still got a huge amount of gamebreaking bugs.
Yes. This has been confirmed a while back. Some civi cars are boobytrapped for the owner to die in. Sometimes you'll hear the beeping noise after someone gets inside, then BOOM! Out they go.
Also, suicides and possible homicides occur from sky scrapers. You'll sometimes see someone jumped off (or was pushed off) the highest building and falls screaming until he hits the ground.
Welcome to Night City, the city of dreams.
Yes, I'll confirm this bug is still very prevalent today. Apparently it existed since 2.0?
I experienced the same freeze up just two nights ago. I took a screenshot. :P

I believe this bug is deeply rooted and may be a very difficult process to fix, as it seems to be affected by certain variables to your wares and hacks you use. Any weapon with quick hack effects, can trigger it as well. Not always, but it happens.
It's like trying to pull out a slipper wedged underneath a large and heavy book case filled with very delicate ornaments. One bad move and everything falls and breaks over this one attempted bug fix.
Let's look at it this way. When we're talking millions of lines of code, it is a staggering task to ensure everything is working perfectly in accordance to many varying elements and user choices in wares, weapons and abilities.
It is by far a very impressive production, but unfortunately, not one without its flaws.
I am currently playing through my 4th run on very hard difficulty and I'm basically play testing 2.21, counting all the major bugs I see along the way, as well the minor ones.
So far, 76 hours and 22 minutes in, I have encountered 3 prominent bugs, which include the Sasquatch freeze, one broken radio bug and lastly, my Kerenzikov not working. I was able to fix Sasquatch and the broken Kerenzi by reloading my game's last auto save. But the radio had to be fixed by going to my Japantown apt and play the guitar to fix and reset the sound cues.
Aside from this, my experience has been buttery smooth on ultra settings with high crowd density. But I still have about 120 hours left in this run, as I'm engaging with every gig, hustle and sides. Hopefully it won't be too bumpy.
Overall so far, I'm having a good time with it. But yes... you're right. The game is still a bit unstable in some areas. Try not to focus too hard on those.
The coding is just ridiculous in this game. My 2.2 playthrough was riddled with problems. (I even fell through the map a few times) But I restarted a new save and deleted that run. Then my game ran much smoother. I suspect my save was corrupted. Who knows, really.
