Best settings for RTX 4080s?
What is the sweet spot for graphics settings to get decent FPS (65+) with the best possible image quality?

Also, I get horrible stutter with frame generation enabled. Is this normal?

I have an RTX4080, all settings maxed out, all RT and PT options on, and I get steady 100-120FPS or more at 3440x1440, smooth as butter, no stutter with DLSS and FG. The game is crazy optimized for latest NVIDA GPUs. What resolution you're playing at? If you're doing 4K, then expect a lot less.

Stutters are often caused by Intel CPUs that have E-Cores and P-Cores. There is a Hybrid CPU Setting in the game to prioritize P-Cores. Try that? And make sure your NVIDIA drivers are the latest. Oh, and I assume you have an SSD, then make sure that HDD Mode is NOT enabled.

Sol, i know this post is kind of old but a lot of people don’t realize running v-sync with frame gen creates issues and stutters. Make sure if you have any custom nvidia control panel settings to turn v-sync off as well as any frame cap if you have one. If you like playing with vsync or frame cap on other games just create new settings for cyberpunk. Manage 3d settings, then from Global, click on programs and add cyberpunk

I agree to changing setting per game and not globally. Global i prefer at default except i change shader cache to 10g. Framegen and vsync can cause issues. Typically though it actually works extremely well. As does setting frame cap. In fact a while back we had a slide show going on in certain areas in the game with vsync enabled. We had to use frame cap and no vsync. But a driver update fixed it. So results using vsync and framegen has been good and bad. Right now vsync works great with framegen. Here's a benchmark i just ran with it. Vsync On and set to 60hz. Note the min framerate is 59.53fps and max is 60.49fps. Bad drivers you'd see low 20s for mins and stutters in game. But currently Framegen and vsync works great. Well with driver 561.09 anyways.

Beware low latency mode especially Ultra. That setting can really screw up Framegen or it used to anyways. I am using 3.7.10 dlss framegen now so maybe it's fixed.
