Poor Performance on laptop with 4070, i9, and 32 gb ram

I am trying to play Cyberpunk for the first time on pc with these specs and despite even putting the game on the lowest graphical settings and adding dlss, the fps won't go over 21 unless on the main menu screen. How would I go about fixing this problem? Please help

Make sure the game actually runs on the 4070, not the CPU graphics. It's a common issue with laptops.

Yup. DLSS works very well in this game. Also, your 4070 should support Frame Generation, that's like another 20% boost in FPS :)

assuming you're on 1080p, if you're not over 100 fps with max settings, frame generation enabled, no ray tracing then something is very wrong.
