So I disabled every single mod and started a new game. made my way back to that door in the same mission, hacked the door that TBug asks you to and...... The tutorial doesn't remain on screen anymore.
Can anyone test this? I'll play further and report back.
Update: the bug still occurs shortly after.
So I truly have found the reason why this bug happens and now, how to fix it!
in your "InputUserMappings.xml" file which is located at:
Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config
search for the following line:
<mapping name="UI_ContextHelp" type="Button">
Delete the 2 inputs that are mapped by default which are:
<button id="IK_Pad_LeftThumb" />
<button id="IK_U" />
Once these 2 inputs are deleted save the file and launch the game.
Test for yourself.
Hi! I just tried this and it didn't work for some reason. I am running quite a few mods and don't really wish to delete them all so wondering if this fix also works in my situation? thx:)
(I just realized this discussion was talking about something else entirely but any tips on getting the open quickhack to work on doors :,) )
so you're saying just using your kiroshi to scan doesn't give you the open option? [[ hold L1 (ps) or LB (xb) ]] you sure said door/window/shutters/etc are openable that way? not all are.
