Disabled all mods and the game still doesnt even launch?

I thought this was a mod issue so I disabled all mods in the launcher yet the game wont even launch to begin with.
Has anyone ever found a solution to this? Will I really have to manually uninstall all mods and then only be able to use them again god knows when?

Same here, full reinstall and nothing. The launcher opens and closes instantly.

Mods can still leave a few odd files that disrupt the game from launching. I would thoroughly go through the game folders / files and make sure no mod files have been left behind - thats if youre familiar with the folder / file structure.

Otherwise you might have to do a re-install.

I had the same issue but found some files from mods left behind.

Note: After deleting the game via steam, go to the game folder in file explorer and delete anything that has been left behind.

Every update has reasonably expected that I update all my mods to keep with the update. Well now, despite doing that same as usual, the game no longer longer launches and crashes. Even removing all the mods, I just cannot launch this game. Great. Guess my days in Night City are over.

It's only been a day, I'm sure they'll fix it. Though I get the frustration, it's the only game I have installed atm.

I just did a clean install and nothing. the launcher just dont want to open at all. I Even delete the AppData folders before reinstalling the game. I dont know what to do.

you should be mad at yourself. 1.62 has nothing to do with your game not launching. really people should be finding out whats causing the issue on their system rather than looking for a work around.

without fixing the core issue you will just get the same problem every update.
