Performance drop after driver update

Anyone else get this? I was running the game fine at 140fps with maxed out settings and RR on the latest DLSS update but since updating to the new nvidia driver my FPS got cut down to 90-100. Obviously still playable but that's a huge dip.

Since the driver update I literally cannot launch the game without my entire PC crashing. This happens ONLY with cyberpunk, annoying

Roll back, insanely unstable release for CP specifically. All my issues were fixed for me after reinstalling old driver.

I actually got a performance uplift at the cost of higher CPU temperatures, though CPU usage doesn't seem to have changed.

It's wack all around.

rolled back the driver, i noticed stuttering and frame drops that i was not getting on the older driver

have you tried switching to the old CNN model for ray reconstruction?
its in the options menu
the new transformer model does have a performance cost - not sure its that amount youre experiencing though.

i have extreme frame drops with 2.21 and i was hoping for the driver update for my 4090... but it didnt change :(

I don't get framedrops but the frames feel like around 40 ish when it says it's at 80-70. Rolled back and it's back to normal

Rolling back did indeed fix the issue i was having. What a mess.

Its to illicit frustration so 4090 owners upgrade to the price gouged 5000 series. The advertised partnerships ensure shareholders of that. Glad I got my 500hrs out of it right after PL released.
