GAME CRASHES ON NVIDIA 572.16 (FRAME GEN??)
EDIT: Played the game fine for hours and hours this week, updated Driver today and game crashed alot. Seems to crash everytime i pause and unpause the game to change a setting.

I thought it was ray reconstruction, but even with that off it crashes... his may have also caused crashes for some GPU reviewers (Games Nexus indicated 2077 kept crashing for them during their 5000 series review...) 5800X3D/4090 - all stock clocks.

How to fix pls?

EDIT 2: Seems to be a Frame Generation issue - with it off, game stops crashing... but this is Cyberpunk - you need FG to play with path tracing.... need a fix

It happens also in other games with latest driver (or so i'm reading for example in palworld forums) .
This is Nvidia issue not game issue at this point, so best course of action if you have this issue, is to revert to previous drivers version until a fix is released.

Same issue after updating nvidia drivers

Not only crashes, this driver introduced stutters when going between menus and back, as well as framegen downright not working after plugging/unplugging a controller. It's a joke. All those issues I mentioned were fixed after I rolled back to the previous driver.
this driver is cooked

I have had some success with limiting framerate through RTSS. I still get low GPU UTIL and a a stutter here and there, but the chainsaw frametime graph is ALOT better.
Hm no problem here with new driver rtx 4080 i710700k using fg and dlss qulaity pathtracing 1440p

i have the same crashes on previous driver but with cyberpunk updated with dlss4
nvidia forum is full of complains about the last driver, lil tip never use the latest go for 2-3 versions lower
Guys would reverting back to an older driver negatively effect dlss4 or dlss4 frame gen/path tracing performance?

Using something like dlss swapper you can still access the transformer model by using the former or older driver. The problem is that the new driver gives like 10-12 fps boost when using frame gen compared to the old. AFAIK cyberpunk is the only game which has gotten this horrible frame gen, frame time problem.
