Same here, cant play the game anymore.

Havent played since christmas and wanted to finish the game but after this patch i crash within a few 5-20 minutes into the game and my computer gets super loud. Never had such a problem before the patch.

Its my first playtrough with no mods.
Sad to say that I started the game (2.21) yesterday morning around 6AM. I had it paused several times for Sunday chores (because that's what happens when you don't live at home anymore), but I didn't stop playing until 7:30PM without any crash the whole time.

Sad because I can't assist with this issue, and it means it's not everyone who's having this problem which means it can easily be a localized issue which means it'll be a PitA to figure out since no two PCs are alike even if they have the exact same hardware.

Same here nvm is 3090 or 4090 i9 13900k or 9800x3d
i have the gog version. yep it's crashing all the time now. 4080 super, 7800x3d. played this game for several hundred hours over the years and never had this problem.
Do you guys have any mods (from Nexus, Steam, or elsewhere)?

It's just a thought, but a few years back mods could sometimes mess things up some after an update or patch. Maybe check it out by uninstalling to see if it changes anything?

Rog ally and now it's crashing on the load screen, I updated graphics, reinstalled the game, checked file integrity everything recommended and nothing working! and I have no mods installed ever....
Kept CP2077 updated but did not play since I finished a run-through a long time ago. Decided to check it out again, just days ago...CRASH.
Went through a ton of variations, all end in crash. ( 3070TI )

4090, game crashes after visiting Hanako at Embers or while racing with Claire. Game is not playable at the moment, even when deactivating DLSS.

I've got a GeForce RTX 2060 super and Im on medium settings, still crashes. Maybe I should try a lower fi?
on my 4070 i fixed the crashing by turning off the overclock i set in afterburner i had on it, which was strange since the overclock was stable for years and in cyberpunk, but when the update hit, would crash a few minutes in, after turning it off i havent crashed since

I believe that some people have difficulties, because there are days when the game goes a bit crazy, I use mods and there are quite a few, with the same content there were days when the FPS dropped completely, they didn't go beyond 20 FPS, after updating the game data several times. through steam and having restarted the pc, the FPS finally returned to normal, but there are days when without installing anything the game goes crazy on its own, which is a bit strange, but for now it has been running well.
