rtx 3080ti, I9 CPU, 64 GB RAM, 3440x1440 res. I just started playing almost 1 month ago. Ive got about 80 hours on it I think. So far I just had a bug on an earlier mission. The one where the elder Arasaka guy gets killed by his own family member. It was bugged out bad. Other than that, its been great.
Vanilla no mods game should never crash, i had zero crash in my last 100 hours +
Now about your "clean install" meaning you had mods in past? if so, be aware that uninstall from steam will NOT remove installed mods, it just delete vanilla files and reinstall over old mods.
If you are using vortex, also hit the unistall from vortex leave behind few files (usually harmless to be fair) so i would not do that either.
The only way to get rid fully of mods, is manually delete the game folder and after that, reinstall from steam.
I tried almost EVERYTHING I could find except messing with the BIOS.
What works for me (2 days with many many hours without crashing now) was unistall the nvidia driver, which made it to go back to 300 something version (2018). Then I download from the nvidia site the 496 version from 2021, since when this game was released I played in this same pc for 60 hours with no problem.
You can unistall it right from your Remove programs windows stuff
After that, I limited the fps to 40 (which my game wouldnt pass anyway) in the NVIDIA PAINEL (not the in game config!!) since the fps jump in menus could cause something.
Also turned off v sync (nvidia painel) and multi plataform saves.
And always restart my pc right before start the game!! I tested and without this restart I have a small freeze after opening and closing menus, i think it has someting to do with steam, bc it also start freezing after I open the overlay.
Sorry if I misspelled something here, I hope something works for you
If you can't install this specific version, try another older one from the 496v. You have to search right on google "nvidia driver 496", cause if you search directly in the nvidia site you won't find it
If this doesn't work, take a look on reddit, there's a lot of sugestion there, many that fixed for other people
Navigate to: Your Drive:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64
Right click "Cyberpunk2077.exe"
Select the "Compatibility" tab.
Select "Run this program as an administrator".
I've been playing for a few days now with literally zero crashes.
Good luck and I hope this helps!
