FPS DROP/LAG/PERFORMANCE ISSUE AFTER PATCH 2.2 (NVIDIA)
my fps dropped hard after patch 2.2. before im getting 70-110fps avg with med-high setting, no RT, dlss quality.

after patch i got 60-70 and drop occasionaly to 40-50, with the same setting, no RT, dlss quality.

the weird thing i noticed was, upscaling option doesnt do anything. turning it on and off doesnt do anything. random frame drop and stuttering. tried every guide for perfomance, but i dont want to turn down my setting to low since i was doing just fine.

spec :
RTX 4050
i5 13th
16gb ram

Try borderless windowed mode instead of full screen. Lotta super annoying issues even with high end GPU's, and tons of people getting results with seemingly random tweaks.

For me, lag and even freeze in full screen mode. Windowed borderless, zero issues.

I'm playing Cyberpunk since release, and I have a similar problem now.
A year ago I increased fps by including dlss (or other scaling methods), but now enabling them no longer affects performance. I will roll back to version 2_13_old and experiment with settings, etc.

Nvidia user using DLSS and Frame Gen. Getting 60fps before the update, went down to 35 fps after. Switching to Windowed borderless seems to have helped regain about 5-10 fps but I'm still losing 20fps.

It's probably the Nvidea app

That only account for a couple of percentages when you enable the overlays, photo mode. It's game related

Build done in september, ryzen 7 7700X 64gb in combo with 7600XT that has 16gb vram. Since 2.2 when i get a call somehow it impacts the entire gameworld. Only when i call or am being called... no mods what so ever no dlc either. Strange ... *shrugs*

All AMD user here.. game ran flawlessly when I first played it. After 2.2, it's been running much worse.
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
GPU: AMD RX 7800XT

Try this:

Start the game, go into the graphics menu, and at the very top select the graphics preset "Low".

Return to game, hit Esc and return to the graphics menu, and set it back to what you actually want.

With some luck, this might cure your microstutter issues.
Also having a terrible time with micro stutter and reduced performance.

Raster only, 2560x1600, no DLSS, optimized settings, Sosuine's LOD mods at defaults, and the usual set of non-upscaled texture packs: Better Surface Textures, HD Project Balanced, ETO 2k, Better Tree Textures. Any other graphical mods are limited to the player character or small objects (i.e. the wonderful food/drink remeshes). Never seems to go over 12gb of usage for me, anyway, so not a VRAM issue (16gb mobile 4090).

This game engine is such a disaster, honestly. The last version pre-Phantom Liberty was the only one I recall never experiences technical issues with. So glad they're moving away from it with future games.
