Crash during startup intros cant get to main menu
Yesterday, I was playing the game as I usually do, and I never experienced any crashes. However, now, when I launch the game and see the "press space to continue" message in the main menu, it either crashes immediately or crashes before that. It only launches in compatibility mode for Windows 8. This gives it a 30- to 60-second launch time. I've tried hard reinstalling, and I had mods enabled. I disabled them and clean reinstalled them then too; same issue. No other game does this that I've tried. Pressing any key during startup will crash it as well, needing to press space once I get to the main menu. Obviously, Insta crashes me. I don't know if this is a side effect of the latest patch by CD or if my hardware configuration doesn't like the game. I have just under 300 hours, and this is the first time I've experienced a series of crashes to the point it's naturally unplayable. If anyone has or had this problem, let me know.

I was on 572.42; I rolled back to 572.16, which is what I'm on now, and I also installed the newest 572.47. For all the drivers, the game launched perfectly the first time, and then the second time it crashed during startup.

Specs:
3080
Intel 14900k
32gb ram

Here is the crash log i can't make any sense of it maybe one of you can:

When you say you 'clean reinstalled' your mods, do you mean you uninstalled/reinstalled? Used vortex?
Did you try Cyberclean?

https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/8595
Cyberclean.
It's a .bat file you drop into the main cyberpunk game folder and run to remove any left behind fragments from mods. Often helps folks after the patch-broke mods-redownload mods cycle. 'CyberNuke' is the one to get.

Next, do you use 2 or more monitors? I remember folks saying the recent patch (2.21) was having issues for some there.

Is your keyboard and mouse a Razer? Some folks have had issues with that and it's chroma tech too.

I take it you are not using windows 8, just that win8 compatible mode gives you a sew moment to do stuff?
Have you got a lot of .archive mods? Try going into settings and turning off 'allow analytics' as for some reason, with this setting on, the game has a (varying by user) hard cap on .archive mods you can have before it starts crashing (had this myself lol)
delete 'r6\cache\modded

you can thank me later. As for Vortex.. it's a great manager, but it mess up a lot with CP2077, for your sanity download and install mods manually.

Have you updated your MoBo BIOS? My game was crashing more and more often until I updated my BIOS. 13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs have a problem, but the latest BIOS fixes it.

cyberclean didnt work. Ive tried everything but delete my save files.

I use 2 monitors yes and I use corsair software for Kbm

Turning on windows 8 compat stopped working as of last night so the main menu is inaccessible unfortunately

Do you have anything set to be sound reactive in ICUE?

Ive had multiple weird performance things cuz of that software.
Sound reactive ram led being on caused 300ms frametime spikes in DeadSpace for me, for example.

Edit: our hardware is similar. I had trouble with games when my ram speed was set too high, windows works great but games would crash out. 6800mt was the sweet spot. Could be it?

The lights in your case or on parts like ram/gpu react to the output of your sound device, basically they flash or pattern if loud stuff is happening.

Some games have actual profiles for it, like Division 2.

Its also called "murals", I believe.

I dont think I only have the white mural on for lights nothing seems to correlate to sound

cyberpunk just booted fine i was confused closed it opened it again now i cant get it to launch again. I have no idea what to make of this
Mine started crashing now as well... using 5080, 9800x3d.. was working fine the other day, now exactly the same thing... it starts up... lags a bit... you hit space bar and it crashes/blue screen/restarts the pc... no other game has this issue just cyberpunk. Thought it was a driver issue, rolled that back, didn't work... I'm thinking it must be a windows update or something?

turning off nvidia overlay, then opening the game fixed it, and turning it back on while still in game kept it working havent crashed since
Rollback to 566.36, remove the game's settings.json file and ensure Ray Reconstruction is not enabled. Had this issue yesterday, this setting was screwing up my game.

Also, I wouldn't go past 566 yet, 572 drivers are plagued with issues.
