Mouse stops working only with this game
Anyone else having this weird issue? Nothing else causes this. My mouse (SteelSeries Rival 710) will randomly just stop working while I am playing, and it will stay even after I close the game. No other games or programs causes this and I have had zero issues with this before trying to play Cyberpunk. I thought it might be something with the SteelSeries engine or it's game capture thing, but nothing I try seems to fix it.

Update: It was not SteelSeries Engine. I fully uninstalled it but I an still having this issue. I’m stumped. I've been reading that there have been random USB issues since they added Razer Chroma support to the game, so perhaps my issue just can't be fixed until they push an update to fix that.

UPDATE: Plugging my peripherals into my USB 3.0 ports seems to have fixed the issue, fingers crossed it stays that way.

Can't say that I do.

I'm using both Steelseries Rival 110 and Steelseries Prime Plus and don't have such issue. I'm not using the Steelseries Engine though, as the settings are stored onto my mouse so I have no need for it.

You could try clicking on Windows 10 Updates and see if there are any optional updates for Steelseries (sometimes it offers optional drivers). You could also try uninstalling the Engine completely and see if that fixes it.

I really appreciate it man, I think I will try uninstalling SteelSeries Engine and go from there.

Do you perhaps have the JB Third Person Mod installed? Because that was screwing it up for me.

I am not running any mods currently, thanks though!

I had a similar issue with one of my wired mouse. I found that the issue is because I was using a KVM setup and had the mouse plugged into my KVM switch. When I conencted the mouse directly to the PC, the issue went away

I do not have a KVM switch, all of my peripherals are connected directly to my PC. Thanks for the answer though!

This is happening to me. My mouse will suddenly quit mid game. Only in this game. Even after killing the game, my mouse is still busted until I reboot.

Yeah, I don't have to reboot just unplug and replug my mouse in. Still haven't fixed it, running the game as admin seems to reduce the frequency of it. Hope you fix it man, sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks, Re-plugging from time to time fixed it. Still a bit of a hassle.

Apologies for the necro but I am running into this issue as well, except with the keyboard. Peripherals work on the other computer wired to the KVM, but just not on this. Plugging in/out doesn't fix the issue. Disabling and re-enabling drivers does not fix this issue. Only restart does.

KVM I am running is levelonetechs

Sorry man, the only thing that has worked for me was changing what ports I plugged my peripherals into. I do not have any experience with KVM switches to give you any advice in that regard.

Are you powering your KVM off of one of the PCs USB ports? Namely off #2? It could be a power issue, that it works for one and not the other, and that restarting, which reinitializes the USB handshake and negotiation, fixes it at least temporarily. That is telling us something.

Yes but the KVM is connected to a USB-C port. It could be a power issue but unlikely as I can still use keyboard quick key to switch between PC1 and 2 - the kb is still powered.
