Red Launcher not appearing

So I know people have a billion skips for the Red Launcher, but when I actually WANT it to launch it just stopped doing it? For some reason it just skips directly into the in game and bypasses the launcher entirely. I tried reinstalling, fresh reinstalling, deleting everything and reinstaling and I don't have the skip thing put on my launch parameters. No mods installed either, anyone have any idea?

I'm on the same boat as you. Recently reinstalled game, fresh, mind you. Launching game directly works fine, but Launcher doesn't appear. Don't know why.

reset your firewall, add the launcher to your antivirus whitelist.

Reset my firewall, added the REDPrelauncher thing to the firewall and... nothing still. It just boots up straight to the game, not sure why this is even happening. Thought it was a mod at first but I'm on a clean install and no mods, still happening. Maybe I did it wrong? How exactly do you go about doing what you suggested?

Is there a way to get redmod mods working without redlauncher?

Just did a full clean install and reinstall based on those directions. No dice, still boots directly to game with no launcher

No I’ve never had any error. It’s the strangest thing really, it just all of the sudden stopped popping up with the launcher. I think it may be 1.61 patch related but I’m not sure

I re-enabled the launcher for myself and got this error, now it's not opening with the launcher after the error appeared.
Has something to do with "qwindows.dll"

The launcher is crashing on start up, but the game runs fine.

I was able to fix it for myself by going to
"C:\Users\ USERNAME \AppData\Local\Programs\CD Projekt Red\REDlauncher\unins000.exe"
using the uninstall exe and then opening the game again caused the launcher to reappear.

I have the same issue it gave me an error saying MSVCP140_ATOMIC_WAIT.dll was missing.

Nevermind I'm stupid. I missed the 'programs' step of this and completely went to the wrong place. Either way, this is the fix I was looking for and it worked completely. Thank you!
