ACTION BLOCKED trying to equip weapons.

But I can equip armor just fine? I just finished "The pickup" and now I can't change weapons at all. Is there a fix for this? Because if not, this game is basically over for me.

Depends on the weapon. Some weapons such as smart weapons require a cybernetic mod you get from a ripperdoc, others are locked until you reach a certain level or street cred level.

I tried to hack a vending machine and backed out of it, then magically everything came back

Okay! Try this:

Head back to the apartment where Coach Jack is. Go into the ring where the fighting robot is, you should be able to bring out your weapons.

I got this problem too. Can't change weapons, can't use them, can't seem to hack anymore. Only fix so far is to reload my earliest auto-save where weapons still seem to work

I'm getting a similar bug, but just with my clothes. I found a diving suit in the desert, put it on, and once I tried to take it off, the "action blocked" message popped up. This happened quite early into my playthrough, and it still hasn't gone away.

I have this same exact issue, I Believe Nanoweave diving suit is part of (Judy's romance) a side quest for judy to romance, so if you're male, you can't do these quests and unfortunately there is no fix. It's an item/quest bug. Not sure why a quest item is randomly placed in an abandoned house in the first place but it's there. to anyone who needs to know this DO NOT equip *Nanoweave Diving Suit (Judy's Romance) if you haven't already completed the side quest yet.

Also note, if you get this bug, you will be unable to change armor as it is locked when you have a suit equip. This is such a simple issue, i'm surprised a CD Projekt Red has failed to look over.

same issue with clothing but you can change clothing buy going into backpack and equipping that way but yeah this needs to be fix. you wont be able to use mods for clothing but i haven't really seen a need for them yet but i'm only lvl 9.
