Cyberpunk in 2024, anything to counter glitches?
I just bought the game, and I m experiencing various glitches like: missing weapon, t poses npc, desynced cutscenes...I thinked this type of things had been corrected. How do you guys deals with it in 2024? any mods/tips to help? I refuse to believe this game has now extremely positive review, and it still shows this stuff without any community solution at least. Help me pls, I really like this game

Some glitches are caused by game being installed on a hard disk drive instead of a solid-state drive. I don't know how you have it installed but this could be possibility of what is causing your issue. If you do have it on an SSD, then just don't worry about them and enjoy the game. I don't let a few glitches here and there bother me.

If you're talking about objects clipping beyond other objects, then that's common with many video games.

When you say missing weapons.... Are you talking about picking up guns and not finding them in your inventory? If so, make sure the gun you're picking up isn't broken and being tore down for component parts, because that's what it does automatically to any damaged weapon you pick up.

T-posing is a thing I haven't seen in forever. Are you on an HDD? Mine is installed on a Samsung M2 SSD. I don't face such issues. Some cut scenes can randomly go off the rails from time to time. I saw funny things happen in the first 2 acts (The Rescue and Konpeki Heist) during my second playthrough, but on my third, they ran perfectly.
I have no idea what causes it. But a reload can help.

I mainly experience the occasional random crash when things get super heavy (multiple Maxtac fights, etc). Maybe a memory leak or something timed out.

This game is pretty heavy though. Best played with a solid CPU and GPU + plus fast RAM and of course a quality SSD.

Hope your game runs smoother next time you play it. Experiencing any kind of jank can be very immersive breaking. :/

Not seen T posing in forever and if you are using ray or path tracing then your system had better be a 4090.

I get flawless performance and 90 fps (70 fps with the 1660) with ultra and DLSS on a 4060 and my previous 1660 ti. Path or ray tracing cause lag and drop it to 20 fps (10 fps on the 1660).

Good luck, the game is pretty but is very system heavy.

What you are describing sounds like a rendering issue.............
- is the game installed on a SSD ?
- video drivers up to date ?
- Lower your graphic settings to minimum to see if the glitches disappear.............if they do gradually increase your settings until the glitches reappear which just means you had your graphic settings too high for what your rig can properly render.

Without your rig details you are making it harder for people to give helpful suggestions.

Only thing I've noticed, other then bad popins especially why driving, and npcs vanishing before my eyes, is finisher moves on melee weapons, the weapons being invisible.

I mean during gunshoting, I switch from unharmed to holding a weapon with ALT button, but my pg is holding nothing. I can shoot and all, but aiming on my bare hands in shooting pose is not the best ahaha

  • I have an rtx 4060, intel i5 10600k, 16gb ram, game installed on a HDD, not an ssd
  • Driver updated, graphic on ultra, without raytracing. Super stable 60 fps, (limited manually at 60, unlimited it goes from 70 to 90, but I don't like the fluctuations)
  • I never experienced frame drops, 60% of usage on cpu, 40% on gpu in combat scenario
  • normal temperature around 50°-60°, both video card, and cpu (I own a air coolant dissipator, not a liquid one, this temperatures under heavy duties are normals)

I know my pc, Raytracing is heavier and unstable during fight, so I disalbed it. I can't install it on SSD since I don't own it.
Is it possibile that the only solution is "to suck it up" and spend money, even if I completely fullfill recommended requirements?
It was not really what I was looking from other player advices xD (I m referring just to those that had said that)
