Sasquatch boss fight is so buggy

i keep reloading cuz i wanna beat her fairly and she keeps getting stuck in walls and objects

nope, fresh install, its the only boss thats like that

Best advice is to just sneak past. You can clep the hammer too if your careful enough.

It has always been buggy. One time she was unable to move and it was more an execution than a fight. Another time she disappeared in the floor and I was unable to loot her. I also had smooth fights her though. Staying in the center of the room might increase your chances for that. Also increases the chance to get hit by her power attacks though. No pain, no gain, as the Animals would say...

Interesting. I always thought you need to finish her off in order to proceed. Does she reappear at a later stage of the game, if you spare her?

I snuck past her my first playthru. Not that hard really, just wait for her to turn around.

It is, bugged out like 5 times for me. I noticed that it happened when I steal her hammer. So I let her have it and looted it after the fight

Really wish we could pin point the cause of some of these bugs. On my first full playthrough, I only seen about 4 or 5 minor NPC glitches like a small group of Valentinos slightly hovering off the ground, or my car not getting summoned when I needed one.

A quick reload would fix these things. But on my second playthrough, I actually noticed different varying bugs during some missions like Jackie freezing up in the Konpeki Plaza garage until I finally got in the car, where he just blinked into the seat. lol. This never happened before on my first play. Everything went super smooth then. Unsure what caused this to happen this time around.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how the engine fetches and processes data from my SSD, possibly stalling at some points, causing timeouts and breaks in the process? (Disclaimer: I have no idea wtf I'm talking about)

I also notice more crazy NPC events when I set the crowd density to high. If I leave it at medium, everything seems far more stable for me. So maybe it's my rig?
Don't know. Just glad a reload would undo some of these things for me.

OP, are you too far ahead now that you don't want to try load an even earlier save before the one you kept reloading and try to redo the Sasquatch fight again? The save file may be corrupted from the point you're trying to load in.

He mentioned Sasquatch getting stuck in walls. It might be the walls that pop up from the ground she's getting stuck in and not moving.

These types of bugs seem to happen at random and sometimes they don't happen at all in one or two playthroughs, but could sometimes happen on a 3rd or 4th play, etc. Very random occurrences, albeit rare in my case.

I'd go for a reload first, else I'd try and see if there is something useful in the builds and test if you can hit her with those attacks for example a superhero landing from the Body category. Or netrunning her down. Such things kept happening to me more often after the patch somehow or maybe thats just a feeling. But I often have those stuck npcs sometimes they aren't even stuck when they are KO but I cant pick up anything from their inventory even thou it shows objects in their inventory.

Yeah this is a common occurrence. I had that happen twice yesterday. When you see that tier 5 item and you can't loot it. lol

Yes, this problem I know too well. Really made me feel like missing out on that tier 5 item.
