[SOLVED] RTX 3090 stuck between 60 to 70 FPS
I hope to find someone else with the same problem here!
I've been trying to change the game's graphics settings for days but there is no way I see those changes applied. If I try to switch from Ultra to Low all remains the same (textures, lights, refelctions, RTX, DLSS and so on) and the FPS counter goes from 60 to 70 in lucky situation. I'm playing the game at 1080p and as I said in the title, I'm using an High End PC so I do not have the same problem with all my other games.
I've also tried to manually modify some in game files following the lastest guides on the Internet but...You know the conclusion right?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5950X
GPU: Zotac RTX 3090 24GB
MOBO: Asus Rog Crosshair Hero VIII Wi-Fi
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB DDR4 3600MhZ

[EDIT] I finally solved this issue following these steps:
1 - How to BOOST FPS and Increase Performance on any PC" https://youtu.be/ZIzImn7WwPs

2 - How to Fix the AMD RYZEN bug and get 15% BOOST in your FPS https://youtu.be/ydGB4JF6Deg

3 - How to Fix the RAM + VRAM bug and get 10% BOOST in your FPS https://youtu.be/lw8lB8xkrzE

4 - Windows 10 in-place upgrade: I used Media Creation Tool from Microsoft to download a Windows 10 .iso file and performed an in-place upgrade. This refreshes your Windows 10 installation but keeping all files and applications untouched.

NOW 110 FPS, 1080P ULTRA SETTINGS AND DLSS ON ULTRA PERFORMANCE.
ALSO 90 FPS, 1080P ULTRA SETTINGS AND DLSS ON QUALITY PERFORMANCE

------- NO BOTTLENECK --------

Nothing you can do about it.. It's either a optimization issue on the game, a driver issue, or hell the fact that it's a Zotac /shrugs. Either way it's out of anyone hands until Nvidia or CDPR Devs resolve it

I'm running:

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
Rog Crosshair VIII Hero (WIFI)
Gigabyte AORUS NVMe Gen4 M.2 1TB x2
G.SKILL Trident Z Neo 2X 16 GB 3600
GPU - GTX 1070TI (Latest Nvidia Drivers)

Running game at 60 - 76 FPS. Of course I see dips down to 50 - 55 in some areas.

Settings on on default so (High and Ultra) 1080P

What' I'm saying is - Just go play the bloody game, you're just another post in a sea of posts about a topic we're aware of and I'm sure the Devs / Nvidia working to resolve. It'll hash out no worries.

I have the same CPU but paired with a 2070 Super and yes it's bottlenecking a lot. Ray Tracing expecially adds 20% load on the CPU and in most situations the fps goes below 60. I raised the resolution to 1440p at it helped quite a bit! I run the game at ultra and never get below 70-80 fps but for now ray tracing is a big no and my gpu doesn't even get to 100% most of the time because the CPU limits it. Try this simpe fix if you want, it really did boost performance a lot for me and improved CPU and GPU utilization.

So...AI Suite seems to be the problem. It wouldn't be the first time I hear it!!! GRRR

lower resolution = gpu needs less power / time to process data.

Thanks again for the advice! :D

you're welcome! :ltangel:

if his 5950X is the bottleneck,
im not sure his cpu will run faster when the gpu gets more workload with a higher resolution. or what exactly do you mean so he gets more fps?

couldnt it be just a general problem with the cpu being underdeveloped for some unknown reason and therefore the fps problems?

msi afterburner would help seeing how the computer handles the game

It's always nice to help ;)

So if you have the RTX stuff on you might not get any better than that, even on a 3090.

I did the AMD fix and now I can run 1440p on max everything DLSS Quality mode and get steady 60 FPS. Its insane fix this one.
