Cyberpunk freezes after loading a save game!

My game will freeze after selecting a game save file to load. doesn't matter when. I removed all mods, reset keybindings, and deleted it twice, clean-installing it on the second. I've deleted the UserSettings.json file, Please Help Yall!

Yeah mine is doing the same thing and I don't understand it. Whenever I try to hit "continue" in the main menu or load my most recent save it goes to the loading screen and immediately freezes and I have to alt-tab out and shut the game down. I managed to load an older save two hours prior and got in just fine, saved over it, quit out, and when I relaunched I couldn't load that save.

Very frustrating, hope somebody figures it out.

Game freezing whenever I load a save

Having a weird issue that started happening recently that I'm not understanding why. Whenever I hit "continue" to load a save it will start to load and then immediately freeze up. It will persist until the game eventually crashes, however I found a strange workaround where if I spam alt-tab it will eventually bring me to my desktop and then will eventually let me load in.

I tried loading an older save from hours prior and loaded in without an issue, saved over it, reloaded that save, and then it continued to freeze upon trying to load the new save. I tried disabling all my mods, verifying files, my drivers are all up to date and so are my mods.

I did also try creating a new game and had no issues loading in or loading any saves on the new character. I'm not sure what the problem is.

mods..............sounds like your older save files got corrupted if you can start a new game just fine.

Sounds like your mods have changed your save game somehow, it's probably never going to work. Load a save without mods or start again.

Yep, had the same problem, this is this mod[www.nexusmods.com].
I personnaly uninstalled the mod, reloaded a save that was BEFORE I summoned an AV in the last version, and saved it, it looks like it fixed it. I hope it fixes it for you too.

I personally chose to uninstall the mod and play without it from now on.

Ahhhh yep, from what it seems like other people are having the same issue with that mod. Thank you for figuring it out and getting back, I really appreciate it. Ended up doing a complete reinstall of the game last night and was about to wipe all my mods, but you just saved me a LOT of time and effort. Thanks a lot friend!
