Are you skipping dialogue a lot? The game crashes when you skip too much too quickly. its always been like that.

first time hearing this, i don't even think its true.

as for OP, try a driver reinstall with DDU.

I had actually reinstalled the latest drivers after the first couple crashes. Nothing changed, crashes after.

Not sure if this helps at all, but I was getting a lot of crashes within the first couple of hours playing, and had all of the latest drivers.

RTX 3060 / i7 processor / 16GB RAM

Mid range system so graphics settings were NOT set to max, but I went ahead and manually turned off ray traced reflections and ray traced sun shadows and haven't crashed since.

Bitter/sweet solution because I feel like I'm missing out on some of the visual experience, but it's better than crashing.

May not work for you, but then again you have better system specs.

Yea almost the best possible specs which is kinda why I finally bought this game. One of the few that take advantage of cool stuff like path tracing and frame generation. I was running fine and stable max everything I'm kinda hoping to continue to. I'll tinker around with settings tomorrow to see if turning off stuff fixes it. Kinda sucks if that's the case.

if you did with DDU specifically then fine. run tests for your other hardware like ram to see if they haven't gone faulty. check your cables and make sure they're plugged in, i had a friend who consistently crashed in games and come to find out his PCI cable was loose somehow.

No issues like that I play several other games. I can easily rule out temps, drivers, hardware as a whole... it's a problem specific to this game.

use intel XTU to underclock your cpu to around 4 ghz on p and e cores. let me know if that helps, doing it made the game stop crashing at launch for me.

I've undervolted my CPU slightly. Will changing clock speeds mess up anything?

still crashing on my desktop

lowered all settings to high, turned off path tracing and the crashing persists. Changed DLSS modes, nothing.

Just bought the game in the sale last week along with the DLC and only started playing it this weekend. Think I'm 7 Hours in right now and the only issue I had at first was V's voice, as it was a little muted compared to others. That's fixed now after playing with my sound cards sample rate. 7950X and 5700XT here.

Constant crashes as well. Usually after a big battle, or during, which is infuriating. Crashes on saves, still (yes, cross-platforms saves are turned off, I've done everything suggested).

RTX 4090 no OC (do not even have OC software installed), no OC on the CPU.
