Fast Travel Bug not fixed

I can't use fast travels anymore. It says unavailable. Happened after the phantom liberty firestarter mission. Reloading and restarting the game doesn't fix it.

Waiting for hours and playing side missions seemed to fix it. Hopefully cdpr fix it in the next patch.

So this is still some kind of bug and it appears to be related to mission effects. The real problem with this bug is that it affects other saves.

If you are on a mission that prevents you from using fast travel and then you save/die on said mission I think thats how this starts.

For me I was progressing the phantom liberty story and I was on the Reed ending. I was chasing songbird and I went to meet with reed and setup the roadblock for the maxtac vehicle. During this mission you can't fast travel (once you get close enough to reed that is). I fast traveled to the closest point for meeting with reed and then saved just outside the building. Then I quit for the day. When I came back the next day any save I loaded could no longer fast travel.

The fix was I had to go back to this save I made outside of where reed was an I had to progress that save to the point where fast travel worked again. Once I did, all other saves were working fine again.

So if you are having this bug then most likely you saved a game somewhere in a mission that fast travel was disabled and if you progress that save beyond that, it should start working again.

Yeah it's only happened to me once, it's weird.

The fix for me was to skip time ahead (at least 12 hours), save, and restart game. On my end, it has to be in this exact order.

♥♥♥♥, this just happened to me. I don't use fast travel that much, but trying to wrap up some quests so it would be very useful right about now.

This also happened during the PL missions way before the Mainframe Stadium Mission, before I got to chose before Songbird and Reed.

Skipping time, saving and restarting the game isn't helping. Damn annoying.

If I load a game from two days ago, it works, but all newer games are affected.

Edit: started loading my saves one by one and found a manual save that is only three hours old and fast travel works.

From what I gathered, this bug is at least 3 years old. Posts go back to 2021. WTF CDPR??? Seriously, WTF???

Couldn’t fast travel after firestarter, the fix for me was: go to apartment took a shower, went into closet to change outfit and then slept for 6h, this fixed it for me for some reason
