Game has been crashing on load since 2.1
2.1, 2.11 and 2.12 instantly crash on load (after the cyberpunk launch game launch window) and usually before the cyberpunk splash screen. Occasionally the game will work - maybe one in 50 attempts. Prior to 2.1 the game was very stable for me.

No keybinding, never installed any mods. Have 4090, i9-14900K, 3200 Mhz. Anyone encounter this?

I reinstalled my entire OS once for a game ( battlefront 2) but swore that was the last time id go to such lengths.. sorry cyberpunk but its time to put you away for good. it was fun while it lasted

I looked online and found someone resolved this issue by removing the bindings they had set ingame to the sidebuttons on their mouse.. i defaulted the bindings and now i can load my saves.. now i just need the appearance menu mod to work again

yes, make sure that if you do a full install that you actually carefully remove left behind files. In the case of this game another problem is if you have cloud saves the original modded or pre patch saves are stuck in the cloud and will still crash even if you redo everything, simply because of the game having all those file references stuck in your save files.

If you have no choice and nothing is working it may be best to also purge all your cloud saves as well, and any saves hiding on your hard drive.

Yeah I've debated biting the bullet and getting it on console cause PC with this game is such a headache since release for me personally from corrupted saves and crashes to now not even able to play at all.

I'm constantly crashing since patch 2.12. My spec is AMD Ryzen 7900, Nvidia RTX 4070.
No mods. Windows 11.

If you guys have uninstalled mods and completely deleted remnant files (uninstalling, alone, doesn't do this often) and deleted the Cyberpunk folder after uninstalling it. Then reboot PC and reinstalled yet still can't load a new game without crashing then it isn't the game. It is something else because the game does work.

Next I would look into if there is a driver related crash. Consider rolling back (or if not updated then update) GPU driver and see if that helps. Windows updates can also be the cause and may require rolling back but this is harder to determine and more annoying a process, too.

You can also try https://steamcommunity.com/app/1091500/discussions/7/3878218563600003680/

This one is a rather interesting solution https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/patch-2-11-crash-on-load-save-new-game.11127766/

Another is to consider turning HDD mode off and restarting the game.

Notice all these issues are due to not properly cleaning uninstalling the game though... Sadly, uninstalls aren't so clean as you might expect and often leave trace folders with data that will be used if you ever reinstall an application in many cases. This also pertains to mods. Thus you have to uninstall, find related folders, and completely delete them. Best is to reboot when done before doing a new install.

Keep multiple saves to solve that problem. Corrupted saves should be a rarity. This way you don't lose all progress and mitigate most losses. Unless your PC is underpowered odds are it will be no better on console.
