Game keeps crashing on start menu
I reinstalled the game a few days ago, after not playing for months. I updated all my mods but the game just opens and doesn't let me continue past the "cyberpunk" screen. Ive tried renaming the dll file but thatt doesnt seem to work. Also using a razer m&k

Are you crashing on the first 'press space' or the second?
If its the second, try flipping 'enable analytics' to off in the settings menus.
There's some weird cap to how many .archive files the game will allow, and oddly enough, just turning that setting off can fix the crash for some of us.

Also, since you have a chroma keyboard check general and technical help forum here, I'm sure I remember a post talking about a fix for those crashes recently (might have been moved to technical, or shoved down by the usual post patch conversations)

Similar problem here. Black screen right after "cyberpunk" screen. If I open 1.63 - it runs without any issue, 2.11, 2.12 - black screen.

Do you have mods in your 2.11/2.12? The updated versions I mean.
Try running via the games .exe file. It bypasses any issues you might find with the steam and REDLauncher.
When I went from (cleaned up, mods removed) 1.61 to 1.63 Legacy, had the sane issue. Asked almighty Google, (lol) and other folks had the same problem.
But running via the .exe fixed it. Didn't matter that achievements don't work ether since 1.63 Legacy wouldn't give me any of em anyway lol.
You can still have steam running in the background too, just can't use its features with the game (steam screenshots, big picture, alt+tab to chat ect)

That's also how to stop the steam version patching on you.
I'm still running 2.02

give this a go

Cyberclean.
a simple .bat file to remove any leftover fragments of code from mods.
(or, did you mean you never HAD mods? if so, you dont need cyberclean)

try the .exe file trick, like i suggested to =Vovancheg=, see if it helps.
(its at Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\Cyberpunk2077.exe )

Never used any mods... Tried to running via the games .exe file, same result. I'll try to unload steam and launch the game, but I don't believe I'll have any success...

My specs: RTX3060, 32Gb, i5-10600KF, Windows 10 Pro 22H2

have you tried the Razor Chroma fix yet?

How to fix crashing when loading a save if you have Razer Chroma
Update 2.11/2.12 has been crashing the game when loading a save if you have a Razer keyboard/mice.

To fix it go to steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\CChromaEditorLibrary64.dll and rename the file to something else.

They fix one thing and ♥♥♥♥ others
In 2.11, the buttons for changing third-person cameras in the vehicle worked now for me, they stopped working, I did a mission, I left it without being able to run quickly and the control button also didn't work, the control buttons for changing the radio inside the vehicle didn't work and in the 2.11 worked.
♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥, a 15 Gb update as they say for this? What are you improving? the graphics for those with a 5 thousand euro PC and screwing up the game for others who have a 2 thousand euro PC

What's more, my GEFORCE EXPERIENCE application no longer recognizes the graphics settings and cannot optimize the graphics game, it's there like a ghost .

( I had to say this to recognize the graphics again omg, graphic recognition by GEFORCE EXPERIENCE App repaired thanks)

In 30 years I have played hundreds of games and I say this with all sincerity, I have never played a game with so many problems like this one that is constantly breaking or something stops working in it.

crashing off the first press space , i disabled cyber engine tweaks and the game started up perfectly fine so i assume it just has to be updated.

I don't have Razer Chroma. Don't think it's my case... Don't have any mods, just clean install... Something is wrong with 2.11/2.12
Thanks for trying to help.

Delete the UserSettings.json file from C:\Users\%youruseraccount%\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 and see if that works. That worked for me insofar as I could it running again.

However if I change any configuration at all, video settings, key mappings, whatever, I start crashing again.
