Have you tried adjusting the difficulty setting? Not sure if it would help, but can't think of anything else.
Changing difficulty can be done at any time and takes you to the previous save, and it will reset certain things, if I've understood it correctly.
Good luck!
I will try this, I ran into this problem during 2.11, then today I noticed it upgraded and I was happy that the bug may be gone. I will try switching difficulty, not sure if it can be done in the limo, no parts of my weapons or armor or crafting can be used, but I could do it before the elevator or in it. If I have to, I'll redo the whole heist mission on a different difficulty, I've tried so many crazy things at this point, it's a bug circulating the net for years since launch probably. I don't see what is different about me that I get this now.. It performed perfectly on my new build, 4070 Ti 12gb and i9 11900k overclocked to 5.3ghz. It's on automatic though so if it gets hot , it will clock down. I also put my GPU fan and my case fans up near 95% so it doesn't overheat and cyberpunk has been performing like a charm until this unfortunately. It would suck to get stuck here and never experience buying new cars and all that comes in act 2. :( Thank you for your suggestion!
I admit I had a trainer on, just for minor things, I had even turned it off several times, but finally I restarted the mission, with no trainer, and when I got to the drones I could fire back and with a submachine gun! Still they took a lot of hits, I thought i'd die several times, but I made it first time. What a shock at the ending of act 1 ! I had no idea what was going on, and couldn't save for some time, so I was worried i'd get killed SPOILER: of course I did, partly, then everything became good again, I could turn the trainer back on (cheat happens, they are the best). Since i'm a very casual player who's getting up there in age for the new games and all the stuff that must be done and kept right, it's just becoming too much. So I can only play complex games with a little "help", If I could, I'd play without it.
So a great outcome and thank you for the answers, I may even try mods but after that, i'm scared to mix mods+ trainer! Thanks everyone. So stoked to be in act 2 where I can now buy cars and do so much other things, but with that big threat looming over me now... at least it adds tension to the game.
Hey man...it's your game, so play it the way you want. This game can be very tricky and mods can do some weird things, although they can add to the fun too. Not sure what you mean by a 'trainer' though... In any case, I'm glad we got it figured out.
