Driving at full speed makes my game always crash after 15 - 20 seconds.....
This game is still mega unstable , I lowered the crow to minimum and even if the game crashes less than medium crowd settings ......it still crashes.

Why does it crash exactly when driving or running (yes running during a long time) ?

The only thing I can imagine is that the game need to constantly stream new assets that way. Are you on SSD?

Your system can't handle the game.
Time to upgrade.

Set HDD mode to auto and try it out.

Also: specs, settings? Help us help you.

I get frame drop stutter while driving fast. I doesn't happen often but it's a micro stutter i can see it in the system overlay.
7700XT
5800X3D
32GB
SSD (SATA samsung 870 EVO)
1080p resolution

On a system like mine i should breeze through the game. Which it does in most situations. I would say 95% of the time its smooth sailing. It must be since i did 3 playthroughs.

I would love to test out the game on a fast NVMe m.2 drive...

Yes I am on SSD.

Game is on SSD NVMe.
Ryzen 7 5800X
RTX 3080 10 GB
32 GB RAM
Using DLSS.
HD resolution screen.

Game runs fine during ultra nervous fights soooo I was wondering.
I am using 2K textures usually, I mean 2K is allready so detailled why need more when it's so good looking.
Maybe LOD mods are the culprit ? I don't know really.

You installed mods ?
I have 700 mods (or accurately mod files) but the game runs fine. Some frame drops in specific areas down to 30 fps but usually I am at constant 55-60 fps.

Well the first place to start looking would be the mods, unfortunately. It's difficult to tell if the game itself is "unstable" if you're running 700 of them!! I wonder if the game is struggling with modding to stream graphics stuff from system memory, rather than VRAM, given that it can peak at 1080p at levels above 10GB of VRAM usage. You might look first at any mods that could have any effect on VRAM usage, particularly any mods that affect LOD or add textures to the game (and, potentially, anything that fiddles with the game's field of view).

Hmmm, I installed LOD and FoV mods yes.
Ok I might want to check these. See if things change if I remove them.

Haven't noticed any problems driving fast or running long distances, personally.

Ryzen 5 3600
16 GB 3200 ram
RX 6650xt
SATA SSD (WD Blue)
Win 10
1080p, mixed Med/High
Bunch of clothing mods & the reqs (all the frameworks, virtual atelier, etc)

I got 200 mods myself, Playing on 5120x1440 with almost same specs as you excluding CPU, which I have a LOT worse and a bit bigger ram (64GB) and no crashes at all. But I needed some time tweaking those mods to stabilize the game ... especially graphic settings to get stable 60 FPS during hot moments.

Oww don't worry about this I am dusting the pc every 2 months (I have a cat :3 so it accumulates faster).
CPU is around 65.
RTX is around 71.

Ok I think I found the culprits.

@charly4711 speaking of texture streaming.

I found out that I had three 2K/4K world texture mods (meaning all textures, ads, walls, streets, grass, windows, etc....).
These 3 mods where overlapping one on another while only 2 of them were compatible.
So I removed one and now I can drive without any problems.
This must have been a "calculating fever" even for an NVME SSD...
I also removed a LOD mod and kept a very low performance one.

The game also is even smoother.

The game "only" crashes once every 4 hours :p .......... ah sweet modding addiction.
But let's be honest the game is bad without mods. I wouldn't be able to play vanilla for even a second.

Just wanted to say thanks! This almost certainly is my problem..too many texture mods. Sounds just like what you were experiencing.

Strange that it just started happening seemingly like it never had before. But it sounds right.
