Edit: update your GPU drivers to the version released yesterday specifically for this update, which includes support for the path tracing updates made with patch 2.1 if you haven't done so already.
Yes im on the latest driver. I did it today after getting the update. I did mention that in the last line of my post.
Edit: It was the settings file. As soon as i deleted that, the reconstruction option appeared under the dlss settings when set to auto or quality. It wasn't showing before but now is and yes that fixed path tracing.
I'm still getting little ghosting flickers from frame generation though.
If you use DLAA, make sure ray reconstruction is disabled (it's bugged and enabled with pt at native res when it shouldn't; only use it with dlss upscaling modes).
