issues with mods help

just for anyone who might need help with their mods after the 2.1 update i know it seems obvious for any vet modders so anyway

check your core mods are upto date with the latest version like cyber engine tweaks redscript codware red4ext ect

generally make sure all mods are upto date also

double check your load order generally make sure the core mods or dependent are at the bottom if they are order-able unless the mod author states otherwise like the ks uv frame work

other error messages can come up some times its due to the cache in the r6 fold
a possible fix is to navigate to the cp77 install folder then navigate to r6,cache,modded then delete the files which say "final red scripts" not the video file leave the rest
then do steam verify files the on vortex redeploy then enter then game then leave the game then redeploy again then enter the game that should fix some of the error messages

lastly if your still having issues its better to uninstall everything and go through all the mods starting with the core mods and re installing them to find which mod is causing the problem

even when you know what your doing this takes a while to sort out

EDIT : ive just got lucy outfit mods from the series .. it spawns in random clothes that look nothing like it (because i didnt add the files correctly) and also no hair.. (still no hair) ive managed to get the face preset working and makeup, save game editor is not working properly.

Cant get the hair to work for love nor money .. speaking of money .. save game editor does not work with 2.1 there is some messages about it on nexus .. hopefully will be updated soon!

sounds like something wrong with a core file which many mods depend on to work correctly find the mod requirements for the mods you use on the nexus and make sure they are up to date and installed correctly

i am personally having issues with archive XL

I dont use vortex ...

1. Install requirements
— RED4ext 1.19.0+
2. Download the latest release
3. Extract the archive into the Cyberpunk 2077 directory

The only mod that I got to work before 2.1 was the one that adds a mod setting tab to the main menu. And of course after 2.1 just having non working mods made the game not even start.

for me there is an issue with red4ext 1.9 giving error codes and not starting the game this is recorded as a bug on git hub but no solution switching to 1,8 allows start of the game but non of the red4ext dependent mods work

will have to wait for an update i guess
