Can't get past the launcher, game not working :-(
I was gifted this game on Nov. 30. Installed it on Dec. 1. The launcher has claimed that my graphic drivers are out of date. I've downloaded the latest drivers from both Nvidia, my go to for graphic drivers, and from Intel just earlier today with the link in the launcher. Restarted my rig, and re-installed the game multiple times. Still, the REDLauncher claims the drivers are too old. Even tried to use the GOG launcher, but even tho it detects I own the game, it won't get the data from Steam to install or launch it.

All I can think of is other discussion boards saying that it no longer supports HDDs. I can play Conan Exiles, Baldur's Gate 3, and many other intensive games without a problem.

If I ignore the claims about the drivers being out of date and go ahead and click Play, the game just ends process. So what the heck's the problem?

I had the same problem. Verified the files and restarted steam and it worked. Make sure there are no mods active at first.

Tried it. Still claims outdated drivers. And still closes after ignoring it and clicking Play.

What I did was go to Local disk/ users/ name/ AppData/ Local/ CD Project Red/ Cyberpunk then I deleted the UsersSettings.json file. then verify your game files. The game launched for me but I had to reconfigure my game settings. Other than that the game runs fine. No issues this far.

Okay. Tried looking along this file path. And tried doing a search from This PC down for just settings.json. This file doesn't exist for me. Is it generated if you can at least make it to the main menu of the game? Because I cannot get there.

I'm in the exact same boat with everything. Game keeps saying my intel graphics card needs to be updated but it's already as updated as it can be. My game is crashing in the exact same way (I try to launch the game and the process dies without even giving a crash message). I've tried deleting the userssettings.json file, verifying the integrity of the files, removing certain mod stuff (was trying to run the game without mods anyway to see if it'd even open normally and nope) so far nothing's working to fix it. I wanted to try downgrading my nvidia graphics card to see if that'd help but device manager won't let me. If I find a fix for this I'll definitely let you know. It was working perfectly fine on 2.0 with the dlc and everything after I had updated both drivers then, but not anymore with 2.1.

Tried reinstalling the somewhat older nvidia graphics driver I was using before (the one that came out before the dec 4th driver update) and it didn't fix anything. Still same crashing and launcher saying my intel graphics driver is out of date.

did you remove all mods? that file should be there, it's the one that basically keeps your games settings
if u are using a mod manager make sure to disable all of the mods before trying to launch the game because even if on the launcher mods are disabled the mod manager will try to deploy them which most likely causing the problem
if you have mods installed in the game files (E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\mods) make sure that the mods that are in the game files are moved out (don't need to delete them) just move them to Ur desktop. and if u want you could slowly try add them back to see which ones are outdated and from there update the one that aren't up to date but if the mods continue to cause problems best to wait till there's a patch

I don't have any mods at all. I never made it past the launcher before this error or whatever it is causes the game to close.

Never modded the game and it crashes right after the first splash screen. Only thing in the event view is a redlauncher error. I tried everything. Got latest NVidia driver, verified local files, reinstalled, deleted settings file, it just crashes. Other games are working fine.

I have the exact same problems and I have no mods. I don't know how to solve it.

Can someone respond to this and lmk if it's fixed or solved, otherwise I am just going to refund the Ultimate Edition I bought.

So far no fix that I know of. It might take several days or unfortunately longer for a solution to pop up whether it's something we can do or having to wait for a game update or graphics driver update. I'm currently trying to fresh install the game to see if that helps me since I had mods, but I doubt it.

Same issue, removed all mods and did a fresh install. The game just doesnt launch after clicking play on the launcher. I tried starting the exe directly from the bin folder and nothing happens either
