[Quest BUG] Black steel in the hour of chaos [Phantom Liberty]

After crafting the behavioural implant weapon for the corrosion quest.
It says to talk to YOKO for the black steel in the hour quest, no talking prompt appears for me to continue the quest.
Tried quicksaving and reloading, reloaded even further back to restart the quest again and still cannot advance.
Researched this quest and apparently this is a common bug...

Anyone know if they are working on a fix?

Just had the exact same thing happen to me. Crafted the item for the quest "this corrosion", and after it completed Black steel in the hour of chaos popped up with talk to Yoko.

Black Steel was an earlier quest in phantom liberty that I already had completed, but I chose a different path than Yoko for it. Theres no way to complete it off your quest list again since theres no triggers anywhere.

I got this bug as well and it seems it's common to everyone who chose a different avenue to get the information to complete the "Black steel in the hour of chaos" mission. In my case I chose Nix and this bug came up after completing "This Corrosion". I can only assume the devs must know about this bug?

Yes. I emailed them and they told me they are gathering information on it and trying to fix.

"This requires the Cyber Engine Tweaks (CET) mod, which is why this is a PC fix.

Set Black Steel as the active quest and then use the following console command through CET

journalManager = Game.GetJournalManager() trackedEntry = journalManager:GetTrackedEntry() questEntry = journalManager:GetParentEntry(journalManager:GetParentEntry(trackedEntry)) questEntryHash = journalManager:GetEntryHash(questEntry) journalManager:ChangeEntryStateByHash(questEntryHash, "Succeeded", "Notify")

This will force the game to complete the quest and you won't have to worry about that staying in your open quests log. Hope this helps"

Let me add to this I called Nix even after this quest should have ended with using Carol(her gift also bugs) and he agreed to help me and wanted to meet at the Osaka memorial but never showed up.

The only current way to get around this bug without mods is to read the phone message from Mr Blue Eyes only when you are in Yoko's store, but definitely not before !

When the mission "BLACK STEEL IN THE HOUR OF CHAOS" glitches, the Cerberus Behavioral System Shard does not appear on the counter when Yoko gives it to you. (in other words it is invisible).

If you read the phone message from Mr Blue Eyes in Yoko's shop, then the shard will no longer be invisible when she gives it to you and therefore the rest of the quest "Black steel in the hour of chaos" will no longer be bugged.

Test it then you see

Back Steel in the hour of chaos quest bug need help

After i chose Erebus , i need to talk to Yoko again,
But i only can buy something from her.
and there are 2 different blue random conversations.
But not the quest dialog. need help
