all LOD completely broken - pop in
3080ti, 5800x3d, 16gbs ram, game running on nvmeSSD

No matter what graphics settings (even with everything completely turned down/off), this game has massive amounts of extremely noticable LOD and object pop in. Even changing the HDD mode didnt help at all, neither did clean installing the game/verifying files. Has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it? I dont know if the devs have acknowledged this problem at all.

I even tried going beyond the in-game settings and editing settings found outside of the game as it worked prior. Same. Doesn't work anymore. Things still pop even though they should be do that at a much greater distance at the very least (where it'll be less noticeable).

yeah, its observable pretty much everywhere. Ive looked through every forum i can think of and nobody has suggested anything thats worked. Also, we have similar pc specs but from what i know people with massively better builds have this issue as well, so i doubt thats part of it

So I might of found a semi-fix. For those of you who have it installed on an SSD. Go to the gameplay settings, and turn HDD mode from AUTO to OFF. This dramatically decreased texture pop-ins, specially while driving. While its not perfect, I feel like I'm actually able to play and enjoy the game with my 4070ti.

I knew this was a fix for some people, not for me though unfortunately ):

I am having the same issue. I've been waiting weeks for a fix. I was having a great time right before 2.0 hit. Now I look forward to every patch hoping that it will remedy the LOD issues I'm having, which look exactly the same as the videos above), but they never do...In my game's current state it's unplayable, it's simply too distracting and at times hampers gameplay. I've tried everything I can think of too, a 4070 shouldn't be having this issue :(

This non-configurable loss of LOD or popup 'feature' is seemingly done on purpose to aid performance.
