- Add the following launch option (Library > right-click Cyberpunk 2077 > Properties): --launcher-skip
- Delete UserSettings.json under "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077"
- Delete "shader_final.cache" & "staticshader_final.cache" under "~\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\engine" then re-verify the integrity of the game files through Steam (Library > right-click Cyberpunk 2077 > Properties > Installed Files) to download the newest shader caches
- Opening "Disk Cleanup" (Win10/11) as administrator and deleting the DirectX shaders & rebooting
- Or like Samurai said, resetting the shader cache of GPU (I've read AMD has a button in its software, whereas for NVIDIA you'll need to disable Shader Cache in NVIDIA Control Panel's Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings, reboot, then delete the NVIDIA folders under "~\AppData\Local" & "~\AppData\Roaming", reboot again, & re-enable Shader Cache
I had recently done a clean install of Windows 10 22H2 and Cyberpunk 2077 v2.0 > v2.01 > v2.02 was the only game I installed. While I have had a handful of crashes to desktop while playing, I've been able to play the game start to finish 2 times over the last 2-3 weeks without any major issues. Guess I could just be lucky.
Nothing helps.
Devs should at least apologise!
With this mentality the entire internet would be full of empty apology letters by every single company, even outside of the gaming industry. Please don't be dumb.
I don't want them to apologize, but I would like to be able to play the game. I can only play for a few minutes before my computer crashes. It is a good computer, I don't have that problem in other games, it is a recent thing and I think I've tried everything.
Maybe some day I have the inclination to do another deep search and try out a few new things, but I'm just drained now. Sucks, the game just got good :(

This one? I can't play for more than a couple minutes without getting a crash either. Had almost 200 hours in game before the update.
