Before 2.0 all was good. Sometimes i play 8 hours in a row without any problem.
The game is CPU heavy! Maybe CPU droping frequency, could be VRM heat issue. What motherboard do you have?
This however wasn't a real memory leak, more of an in-game bug with caching because you could regain performance simply by reloading your save and it would work until it happens again.
Try seeing if reloading a save fixes the performance. If it does then it seems they still haven't fixed this old in-game bug. If it doesn't then yeah it's an actual memory leak at which you point you could try fiddling with drivers or bios settings, especially turning off any overclocks if you have them and reporting the issue to support.
Haven't tested whether it still happens in 2.0, but guess I'll find out as soon as the expansion finishes downloading.
MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WIFI is my motherboard. No overheating either. Very strange imo
It worked. I tried to reload a save in an area I suddenly got 45 fps in. Went up to stable again. So it seems it could be that bug right?
