NPC Clothing/model graphical glitches.

[All Thriller No Philler]

Some (so far only female) models wear clothes that massively glitch out. They shoot polygonal "sprays" in a spastic and rapid outward jump to your camera from their point, and take over the screen while doing so. Makes driving, fighting, and even just navigating the stores nearly impossible if one of these glitches are around.

I think I've noticed it in the market at the bottom of your starting apartment too.

Same here. More than just female models for me. Getting it with Random fat dudes and even vehicles. Ruined the first Takemura discussion in the diner as I couldnt see ♥♥♥♥ the whole time

I've tried deleting everything and doing a fresh install, my graphics driver is updated....no dice.

Some examples. But it happens ALL OVER.
Seriously are there any fixes for this? And is anyone besides us two experiencing it?

This might be because you installed some clothing mobs back before the official mod support. uninstall the game then delete the games folder, then reinstall.

I never installed any clothing mods. Besides that, before this patch came out I had already uninstalled CP2077 and all mod folders. I updated my drivers before this. Should be zero overlap with anything.

same, i tried messing with a lot of my visual and render settings to no luck. we'll probably have to wait for a patch.

Same issues here. I did and currently do have mods installed but I've deleted and reinstalled the game without mods and it didn't fix the issue.

Got this too. How did noone in CDPR see that. I remember that being a problem with some mods for NPCs but without mods that should not happen. Happening on GOG for me... tried the same stuff with verifying and everything...

It happens to me too, specifically with female npc's, one was wearing a blue transparent jacket and the other a maelstrom one.

I am getting it with I think what looks like a skirt? Can't really identify it because it is glitching so damn hard

Also seeing this. Also got an RTX 4090, i9 13900k, 64GB DDR5 Ram and 4TB NVMe M.2 SS.

Okay I am seeing more and more things popping up on Reddit. I opened a ticket, still waiting on any sort of answer. Since it will be first level support, they probably will tell me to "reinstall the game and your drivers".
Since I own the game on GOG I can' really post screens here. But as far as I know now, using AMM, I have found 3 or maybe 4 glitched models so far. There is one lady wearing a military style jacket with only a bra below. Then there is a lady seemingly wearing a skirt which freaks out. The 4th ´could be the first again or something else, it glitches out so hard I can't see anything. And last but not least the waitress in Lizzys is glitching out in both outfit variants the game offers. So it is probably not the clothes itself but a skeletal rigging problem.

Edit: Appeareance Menu Mod (AMM) on the nexus let's you blacklist outfits that are broken. It just saved my game.

How to locate "spoiled clothes" and add them to the blacklist?
