Can't hack door in opening mission.

I already encountered a bug that stops progress on a new save. In the beginning of the Sandra Dorsett rescue mission you have to use hacking to open a door. I cannot get the door to open. Tried with both a keyboard and a controller. Not that it makes any difference but I used the Street Kid origin.

[Edit: Removed mods before the patch even went live. I purged mods on Vortex then completely deleted them. I verified the game files and did a fresh install of the game. None of that worked.]

[Edit 2: I got it working. I made a support ticket with CDPR and they got back to me. The person responding told me to do this:

Please perform a clean installation of the game. Carefully follow all the steps below.
Backup your save files. If possible, transfer them to an external device (for example, SD card).

Saves are located here: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\
Disable Steam Cloud for Cyberpunk 2077.

Uninstall Cyberpunk 2077.

Go to your Steam directory and see if there is a Cyberpunk 2077 folder, if so, remove it.
Remove:
Cyberpunk 2077 folder from here: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\
REDEngine and CD Projekt Red folders from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\
Restart your PC.

Install Cyberpunk 2077 again on an SSD. Do not install any mods.

If you are installing the game on the same partition as you have the Operating System installed, to ensure that the game won't be blocked by Windows permissions settings, make sure to install it on the drive root and not nested in some folders. Example path after installation: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077

Run the game and see if it works.

If it's fixed, copy your save files to the newly created Cyberpunk 2077 folder in the location from step #1.
Re-enable Steam Cloud if you want.]

Hi guys, so I had the same issue. Literally tried every suggestion I could find. I discovered quickhacks would work if I did load up a really old save from like 10 hours in, and also if I started a new game. After more experimenting and pondering I realized what was causing the inability to quickhack was the mod system-ex, which allowed me to use multiple operating systems in my cyberware. Basically to fix my issue I had to uninstall 2.0, then install 1.63 with the system-ex mod and it's other required mods. Then load up my save where my quickhacking was broken and check my cyberware. Of course in that menu I had A sandy equipped, a berserker mod, and my cyberdeck... So for good measure I just removed all my cyberware and saved the game. Then uninstalled 1.63 and the mods, installed 2.0 fresh and loaded up my save now with all my cyberware removed. By the grace of little baby Jesus this fixed my issue. Sorry for the long story, I'm just really excited I figured this out and can share it with all of you so you don't have to start over or wait for a hotfix. Happy gaming chooms <3

I had this problem. All I had to do was rebind my quick hack key, from 7, to 7 again. It's like the old keybinds from prior to 2.0 were not registering. So, I went through and literally rebound everything after I discovered this issue.

Mashing Q, W, and E in quick, successive, random patterns somehow worked for me.

Try to hold TAB. My problem was that I hadn't played in over a year, and turned off tutorials. So after reenabling them it told me to hold tab and then hack with F or E or whatever key you have bound to "action".

You can use AMM and toggle the door.

I feel dumb... this was my issue as well. That's what I get for not playing the game for six months.
