Can't hack door in opening mission.

I already encountered a bug that stops progress on a new save. In the beginning of the Sandra Dorsett rescue mission you have to use hacking to open a door. I cannot get the door to open. Tried with both a keyboard and a controller. Not that it makes any difference but I used the Street Kid origin.

[Edit: Removed mods before the patch even went live. I purged mods on Vortex then completely deleted them. I verified the game files and did a fresh install of the game. None of that worked.]

[Edit 2: I got it working. I made a support ticket with CDPR and they got back to me. The person responding told me to do this:

Please perform a clean installation of the game. Carefully follow all the steps below.
Backup your save files. If possible, transfer them to an external device (for example, SD card).

Saves are located here: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\
Disable Steam Cloud for Cyberpunk 2077.

Uninstall Cyberpunk 2077.

Go to your Steam directory and see if there is a Cyberpunk 2077 folder, if so, remove it.
Remove:
Cyberpunk 2077 folder from here: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\
REDEngine and CD Projekt Red folders from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\
Restart your PC.

Install Cyberpunk 2077 again on an SSD. Do not install any mods.

If you are installing the game on the same partition as you have the Operating System installed, to ensure that the game won't be blocked by Windows permissions settings, make sure to install it on the drive root and not nested in some folders. Example path after installation: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077

Run the game and see if it works.

If it's fixed, copy your save files to the newly created Cyberpunk 2077 folder in the location from step #1.
Re-enable Steam Cloud if you want.]

I was having this "issue", and then realized pressing "tab" was the key to bring up the quick hack menu. Opened the door right up. No idea why they don't give any tips on how to hack the door, but that worked for me.

Confirmed problem and fix. When I load the game it will often have a redmod script error, and I can't hack that door in the very first mission. So I guessed it was a mod related error, even though I cleaned my mods through vertex beforehand. This is what I did to finally fix it:
1. Unintall the game, reinstall 54gb game, did not work.
2. Deleted all mod folders, did not work.
3. Used Vortex cleaner and deleted engine, r6 and associted folders, game won't launch
4. Verified and fixed the game files with another 300 mb download, everything fixed!

This is most likely a mod related bug, a clean clean reinstall will likely fix the issue.

If you hold the scan/quickhack button in keybindings over the door you can remotely hack the door without the UI prompt.
Had this problem with a completely reinstalled game and verified game cache.

So I tried everything relaunching the game/repairing/deleting mods/unistalling somehow the onlything that works was deleting cyberpunk folder and start with a clean game dont how uninstalling didnt work and why did I have to manually delete the game.

delete bin, engine, r6, red4ext and mods folders in cyberpunk's folder and verify game files.

If you don't have a mods or red4ext folder, just delete bin, engine, and r6. After verification, quickhacking should be working again.

its a bat file to remove any left over fragments left behind.
also, turning off vortex and disabling mods helps.

I am on a fresh install, fresh game and had that problem. Tried everything and the only thing that fixed it was the link above.
I used Cybernuke though because cyberclean did not do the job for me.
This one definetely works!

For me turned all mods off, on game start up menu and on vortex, closed the game opened it again and it worked. Probably a mod that messes with hacking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up i imagine
