Did you force keybinds? Because that crashes the game now
turning off antivirus seems fixed flatlining
Temporary solution, on melee weapons theres a broken mod, air attack or something, that crashes on using finishers remove it or change weapons with This. For all other crashes, its a inventory outfit clothes thing, that is broken, so do this, if you crash on missions or anywhere else, temporary unequip all your clothes, upper body, pants, boots everything. I was constantly crashing on a mission and after try everyhing to fix this, i tried EVERYTHING, i got nude and i completed my mission, then i re equip
I'm having the same issue but, the game only crashes after I've been playing for about 15 minutes or so. My specs are as follows:

Motherboard: ROG Crosshair X670E Hero
CPU: AMD 7950x
GPU: RTX 3080ti
RAM: 32 gb ddr4
SSD: 2 tb M.2 NVME Gigabyte aorus
OS: Windows 11

Someone said try to launch through the folder exe and not the icon, let me know if that works. Im re-installing AGAIN to give that a try.
Worked for me. Path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64

You HAVE to get the updated drivers that released with the launch of this, there should be new drivers for 9/21/23 that you have to have for the game to launch. This was happening to me, crash on launch, tried reinstalling, deleting all files then reinstalling, nothing worked. Opened Gforce experience, saw a new driver that came out today, installed it, now game works. Literally need the new drivers for the game to run.

I did reinstall the game it crashes at launch still.
I figured out how to fix it. It sounds stupid (it is) but if you have a 13900k as I do you need to set your performance core ratio multiplier to 53 (from 55 stock) in something like Intel XTU. XTU also has a way to make it a profile and attach it to the cyberpunk exe so it turns on when cyberpunk runs. Ran flawlessly once I did this.

It may be set to run certain cores at a 58 multiplier during low load, just set them to 53 as well.

Not sure if this will work for other processors, but worth a shot. Just tick the ratio multiplier down a couple notches.

Note that the settings revert on reboot. This is technically a temporary downclock by ~200MHz, but it works.

Same. I've done clean reinstalls but it crashes at the title screen. None of the suggestions on the thread have worked for me.

If you are having issues launching the game and had mods installed previously. Go into your install folder. Look for the Bin/x64 then Plugins. MOVE the plugins to your desktop or another location. (If you don't want to just delete them since they are for mods that will get updated soon) and if should start without crashing now.
THIS worked for me! Thank you so much!

Figured out how to fix it. Seems like issue is specific to Intel CPUs with P cores and E cores(Like my 13900k). Someone in another post mentioned they fixed it doing the same thing they had to do to fix Remnant 2, I tried it and it actually worked, and I was able to play for 4 hours straight without any issues with just about every setting maxed.

Fix for me was: install Intel's Extreme Tuning Utility, open it and go into Advanced tuning and set each P-Core in the Performance to Core Tuning to a slightly lower value. For me it was going from 55->54(some were even at 58->54) on all the P-Cores, hit apply, minimize the Intel Utility and play the game. Rinse repeat anytime you reboot/startup your computer.

Seems like some kind of compatibility issue with Cyberpunk and other games like the Remnant 2 just not liking Intel's P/E Core architecture(12000-13000 Series).

Way too many people just blowing off this issue assuming it has to do with mods or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ computers(Kinda wished I went AMD now lol). My last two rigs ran cyberpunk fine(amd and intel), so it was a little alarming having issues with a 4090/13900k. I keep my gaming rigs clean, up to date, and pretty much as stable as possible since I work in tech and have 0 desire to do any kind of tinkering/troubleshooting outside of work.

And if I find that post again here with the fix that worked for me, Ill put an award, thank you kind person!
i try everything and this actually fixed:

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION -
The thread attempted to read inaccessible data at "anything"
and
Interal Kraken decompression error, code: 0

Hiya ,

it was me who mentioned on an earlier thread that i had success using the intel tuning application and if anyone has missed it.

im running 13900k , 4090, 64GB ram and constantly failed to load or crashed when i reached the character selection.

Out of desperation i tried the same thing i have to do to get Remnant 2 to run, i ran the intel extreme tuning app and changed the performance core ratio from 55 to 54 and it now loads with no crashes and have played up to the mission at the tower to steal the 'Tech'.

This isn't a permanent downclock and only lasts whilst you play and upon restarting the pc everything is back to the normal settings, you can also just load up the app again and apply defaults or just set the ratio back to 55 from 54 hope this helps :)
This worked for me also.
I even had a crash dialogue about 2 hours into my new game, and could continue playing. I just ignored the dialouge. I have all settings maxed out. Very happy. Thanks.:steamhappy:

I don't crash, but I get locked into an endless loading screen after character creation now...

For that crash I believe you have to un-equip all you have on before you edit character.
Also cant launch the game here!

This was the las resort for me. It seems that high end rigs struggle with this kinds of games, same problem with Star Wars; (13900K 3090Ti), Developers should take into account these issues.

You are so smart !!! Finally i can load the save successfully. I think CDPR should reconsider their engine stability for top ranking CPU.
