Cant buy Quadra type 66 Cthulhu bug?

Last vehicle I don't have and it wont unlock because it says I need to earn more street cred.

My character is already at level 50 street cred and if I am not mistaken this is the limit? If so I guess its bugged...

Did you do the Claire racing missions?

I had already completed the game to 100% before the DLC came out

Same problem here. Claire killed Samson and that car is still locked, i have no idea what to do

I suspect the game unlocks when you actually reach level 50 but they haven't coded it to recognise if you already are level 50. Another issue for the next patch I guess... :/

You're supposed to get a text from one of the fixers telling you it's for sale shortly after. I guess it's another bug.

It says on the site page that you need to increase your street cred to unlock it. Funny thing is, I swear I already bought this car but cant be 100%.

As it turns out, I cant even play the game at present as I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers today and it continually crashes to desktop now :/

It didn't used to be like that. You used to get the car for free from the driver if you got Claire to spare him. And if Claire shot him you'd get a text from a fixer saying its for sale. I completed the mission 2 days ago. I'll see if I can get the car text if I skip a few days.

I played for about 4 hours and just now I skipped 3 days and I got the text from the guy Claire wanted to kill. He told me thanks and that the car is fixed up and mine now.

Oh so it isn't new? I thought so as I unlocked them all before the DLC came out and now it is locked.

I haven't played the game for a while now as it kept crashing so I gave up

I got it through the Claire mission but it stills says locked. Same thing with the red dlc muscle car that I got for pre-ordering.

Oh damn... I didn't pre-order (I refuse to do that for any game now) but that would annoy me and yeah like I say, I was sure I already unlocked that car and I must have done so. But the DLC locked it again and I cant get it back

I suspect Cthulhu and Vigilante are not coded properly, since you can obtain them from multiple sources. I can get the Vigilante early because I pre-ordered the expansion, but it is also available for sale. Since I already claimed it for free, it may no longer unlock on the website, but the game also does not remove it from there.
May be the same thing for Cthulhu.
I don't know if the game allows to own two cars of the exact same type. CDPR should just give the bonus cars as free redeems on the website, this way you make the "purchase" and it ends up being less confusing.

I have a similar issue with Quadra Type-66 Wingate. I purchased it, but I can't see it in my selection of cars. There is a Type-66 Hoon though, which I can't remember how it was obtained, but it looks similar to Wingate, with the exception of the livery. So both cars have a different name and livery design, but they may have the same ID, so you can only own/access one of them.

Hmm interesting... yeah something is wrong either way. I suspect if you were already max level it wont recognise you as being able to unlock it, instead it only activates when you click over to max street cred but not if you already were.

Least of the issues I had though, really enjoyed the DLC otherwise but an update broke it completely for me and I haven't gone back to it. I already did a couple of the endings but wanted to 100% it all again
