"You can't do that right now"

Bug, doesn't allow you to open map, inventory, access phone, etc. Restarting the game fixes it, read exiting to main menu and reloading the game also fixes it, but haven't tried that myself. It's seems to be connected to DLC missions but, haven't done enough to be sure it's absolutely connected to only them. It needs to be fixed.

I noticed this happens almost every time I use the disguise thing to look like someone else. It's really odd, but I just reload and get it back, haven't really let it stop me.

I also experience this 4 times today,have to restart,no map,cant do nothing.

F this expansion and patch. I had no issues before and now issues en mass.

I lost an hour's worth of progression because I had to reload. Game is just unplayable now imo

All you have to do when it happens is save real quick then reload that save.

Just happened to me as well, immersion killed again

It's happening to me a lot as well, and its especially around the times where I get/use disguises but not always. Saving manually and reloading gets it working again, highly annoying though.
(happens in every stage of the mission 'Run this town')

Stuck on this issue. After installing DLC and finding Jacob outside went the opposite direction towards the blue skulls.

Went through some caves got to the end with the boss. After I beat the boss got stuck in combat mode (even after going outside), so I restarted, loaded up saved game still stuck "You cannot do that right now" (open map/inventory etc) but not in combat mode anymore.

It might have happened when I took out a torrent in the cave from its holster machine? because it was acting up when I took it out (lot more explosions when taking it out).

Restarted PS5 still stuck. My cellphone is disabled on the left, and on the right I have the mission stuck on "No Easy Way Out" : Read the message from Coach Fred.

On the latest 2.11. The only way I fixed it was to go all the way back to before the boss. Kinda disappointing even after all these fixes and updates.

you are lucky i got that and basic lost a whole game, as it effected all 4 of my saveslots from autosave. i wish i had not lost that charplay
