Cant open inventory after completing Story Line

I can access my messeges but thats all, I cant open the inventory or character menu at all I just get a messege saying "You cant access this right now" which I know is a glitch because Im in free roam mode at the moment. Even if I wasnt theres simply no way to know because I cant access the journal to figure out what quest im on. Therefore this is definitely a bug.

I also cant even open the map either, everything is just off limits like im stuck in a cutscene or something, the weird part is I can still do combat and do hypo, run and jump, I just cant access the menu or inventory screen anymore.

Ive now discovered this bug goes a lot further, if I go to a fast travel station the menu for that is just black and white, also if I press escape it goes to the correct fast travel screen, then when I try and click a destination is plays the money spend sound but nothing happens.

I fixed the problem by going to a joytoy. This bug has happened before and I read thats how you fix it and look at that it fixed the problem again.

Same problem. The bug occurs when you go talk to Hands during the quest "run this town" and test the imprint with the mirror. After that I can no longer open inventory, journal, etc. A joytoy didnt fix it either

i have the same problem as well, i didnt try the joy toy fix yet but damn a game breaking bug again even after patch 2.01 dammit

Same. This 2.01 version is just terrible.

oh wait i found a fix , in the mission killing the moon i made a manual save and tried loading it again and it automatically fixed for me, im able to open inventory ,map etc again normally

Found a good fix: Just save the game and load the save and it should be back to normal

F5 and F9 fixes this in seconds.

yup just had this. loading the last auto save worked for me

had this issue too, made a save, loaded up a previous save, then reverted make to my most recent save and it fixed the issue

this is annoying. it happens frequently. is this something we'll have to put up with the rest of the game?
