Invincible enemies (BUG)

This glitch existed since the launch of the game, yet still haven't been fixed.

Certain enemies for some unknown reason become invincible to any form of damage, be it AoE, or direct hit with weapons or quickhacks, it doesn't matter, they literally can not die. Thankfully i've only seen this happen to random "enemies" you can encounter through out the world, and none of them have been in quest locations. But it is a little bit annoying that a glitch that was widely reported back when the game released, is still present in the game after all these years.

Did you manage to fix it? I can't progress like this. Got stuck in the starting tutorial with this bug then reloaded before that and skipped the Tutorial and now I'm stuck at the pickup quest where you have to get flathead spider robot from the Maelstrom. I've killed everyone but can't kill the final guy in the room. Can't go anywhere cuz the objective reads kill everyone.

No, however i'm not sure our issues are related, as i've said, i have never encounter this bug with enemies that are quest related. Also usually when this happens it's the entire mob that is affected by the glitch, not just a few of them. It's the entire group.

Yea, I just came across this issue too. Random encounter where there was a random gunfight nearby. I decided to interject myself and found all of the enemies were entirely invincible. Zero damage done & I couldn't do a System Shutdown cyberhack on them, it was Red'd out.

I've come across this 2 or 3 times so far. It never happened until the 2.0 patch. Luckily it only happens once after 25 hours or so. I've had a decent amount of bugs recently. I've been fortunate that none have been unfixable.

I just got the bug around the "Bradbury & Buran" travel point (little china). I Tries 3 times, at the third, I thrown all my grenades at once. All of their lifebars was still at 100% :(

Just ran into this bug for the first time today (after 172 hours of play time). Seems to be isolated to gang war encounters, and as previously stated NOTHING can damage them (grenades, cyberattacks, bullets, blades, batons, etc.).

I'm REALLY hoping they fix this, because I'd still like to be able to have fun breaking up gang fights after completing everything in the game and free roaming.

Just an edit for my previous post : this bug never triggers in quests, contracts, or ncpd missions, so it's not an urgent matter at all

saw this today for the first time during an airdrop in dogtown. Nothing i did damaged any of the enemies around the airdrop...

fck me I just encountered this bug today too. It's a pack of gang goons, not quest related or anything. But its still annoying as fck I swear.

Buddy this just happened to me in the BEGINNING QUESTS (specifically the one where you rescue that one girl and meet Tbug) they are all unkillable and I cant progress.. HELP??!?!

Just had this happen in 2.1, supply drop with a bunch of enemies that I couldn't damage by any means. Managed to run away and when I came back after being out of combat there was no sign of them or the drop.

Found something that worker! : A group of scavs in dog town couldn't be hurt or hacked. I was fighting them and maxtac when I ran out of ammo and switched to my shotgun. The shotun had the mod slot Kneel! (25% chance of instakill if shooting the legs) After a couple shots the scavs went down. Kneel! is super rare, I used the consol to get it, but it worked for me. BTW this is in 2.12a patch.

Sneaking behind one invincible enemy and performing a grab kill seems to fix it, it did for me at least.
