Crash at the end of 'Run this Town'

Even after path 2.01 I am unable to continue playing 'Phantom Liberty' because the game crashes (shuts down) at the end of 'Run this Town' - no matter what I do. I really hoped they would fix the problem soon. But it seems I payed for a broken game....
I wonder: Is anybody out there with similar problems (broken 'Run this Town' quest)?

i know i am replying to my own post. Yes. confirmed fix.I saved before meeting with Hands, took all cyberware out, and saved. closed the game, uninstalled all mods, verified/repaired my install. launched game, and played up to after JAGA conversation. turned back to V, and no crash. So definitely one of my mods was triggering the crash.
I can list all mods i have in hopes it helps someone else.

i simply uninstalled them all, went to talk to JAGA and then deactivated the face implant. presto, everything still works. now, to re-add all the stupid mods back.

Was this happening after you killed/talked with Voodoboys and then talked with Jago and followed to deactivate imprint? Happens to me after talking with Jago



EDIT 1 : Found the mod the was causing the issue, it is ArchiveXL, maybe for other people it will be tweakXL or any other XL mods you have installed. No need to unequip any cyberware, no need to uninstall mods, no need to verify/repair game. Just disable the mod, that worked for me. Cheers :)

EDIT 2 : Keep the mod deactivated until you finish the mission.

I do not know if doing all these steps are required, but here is what I did:

1> Open the game, load the save you have prior to visiting Mr. Hands then visit a Ripperdoc and unequip all the cyberware that you can, then save the game.
2> Close the game, backup and delete all your installed mods or download the game again.
3> Start the game, talk to Mr. Hands until he sends you to meet the Voodoo Boys, then save the game and reload this save.
4> Now you can open your inventory and unequip the suit for this quest.
5> Continue the quest as normal.

After doing this, the game did not freeze for me after de-cloaking.
Hopefully this works for you guys as well.

Confimed: Effectively disabling mods solved the problem.

No dice for me, I pulled out all mods and their dependencies (ArchiveXL/TweakXL etc.) and it stlll freezes up when deactivating the disguise after talking to Jago.
I don't have a save from before speaking to Mr Hands/starting the quest though, so maybe whatever is causing the crash is baked into the save or something?

It's not mods its a graphics bug. Change setting to low and re-try. Breezed thru where it crashed thrice prior and never had to un-install anything.

For anyone having this issue you are probably modding. To fix this I just disabled Cyber Engine Tweaks for the duration of this quest.

I found that if I took off all my clothes including Aguilar's suit and then changed into Aguilar that it did not crash when changing back to V. I was able to leave mods enabled.

This one seems to fix the problem for me, I recommend others giving it a shot if you're having problems ;)

Running with no mods and was crashing at the end when I changed back but this fixed it for me

This what I did, went to a ripper doc removed all implants except facial ones. Went to my corpo apartment and put everything from my inventory, except the “mancinella”, and req Aguilar suit, into my stash. Completed the mission, left mods on. I’m only running console mod, and that’s it.

Hmmm, patch 2.11 still hasn’t fixed the bug.
Removing all the implants except the face helped.
