constant crashing after a few mins
just bought PL and reinstalled and every 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes my game crashes. turned off cross saves, have NO mods and ive messed with graphics options and nothing seems to do anything.

New patch that just came out. Causing mass wide crashing for a lot of folks. All we can do is wait for a hotfix or you do some fun steam console commands to redownload 2.0 patch

They upped the requirements pretty substantially if you read the PL ones. You NEED an SSD now for starters, and 16gb of ram isn't much.

Try turning off hyperthreading. For Intel it's a BIOS setting. Luckily for AMD there is a setting within the game. Settings > Gameplay > AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT). Turn this setting to OFF.

I was crashing every couple minutes and this fix it 100% for me.

i actually have 32gb of ram as well as multiple SSDs, i was just mad when i typed that out lol

its kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that this game was more stable when it launched for me than it is now though

yeah no its still crashing every few mins. gunna see if i can get a refund at this point

The next patch will be called a space saving update.
The STEAM version will self uninstall after 2 hours and 1 minute.

Sorry to hear that. I was trying different things for days and was about to give up. Then FightinCowboy (from YouTube) said he turned off hyperthreading and it fixed all his crashes. I tried it and it worked for me.

Honestly you'd think that after 3 years CDPR could fix this.

yea this is pretty sad honestly, i was getting into the PL story but every time something cool was about to happen it'd crash. maybe next year cyberpunk will be good lmao
