Hi all. I bought a new RX 6900 XT graphics card. Installed it, enjoy it. But now Cyberpunk crashes over time and gives me this error. I searched all over internet and nothing works. What to do? I don't know what to do. What to turn on what to turn off? Well it can not be on my configurations this game crashes because of the minimum requirements. Configure the following

i7 11700K
32GB RAM
RX6900XT
SSD 500gb

Help, I do not know what to do.

According to the error description something tried to access something in memory that it doesn't have access to. Usually this is an indication for hardware or driver issues. Also the missing File name is strange...
First steps would be to verify the files on steams and check your systems hardware and drivers...most commonly with these error codes are ram issues, followed by GPU and CPU, but it's also not uncommon for storage to be at fault.
As we have very little information, these obviously are only educated guesses...
You could also try to contact CDPR directly via their support tool on their website. They can guide you through all neccessary steps to check your system or can get your problem to the devs, if they determine it's something with the game.
Here in the Steam forums we can only give you basic steps to checking your own system to make sure nothing is wrong on your end.

C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 ( for Settings )

Save Game Files can be located here : ( %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 ).

P.S. Make sure that you are not Blocking the Game on your Firewall & Such, and you can also run ScanDisk on your Computer to check to make sure that the Drive is not damaged.

When installing or Replacing a Graphics card, make sure to remove the Old Graphics Drivers First before Installing the New Video card, you can do this by running the Graphics cards Driver Setup and making sure to Click the Fresh Clean Install ( This will remove the Old Drivers and Install the new ones ) when it's done installing make sure to restart the PC. After you are done with it you can Launch CP2077 & then go into the Graphics Settings and Click on the DEFAULT Tab and make sure to Click Apply or Ok Botton. After that you can adjust the Game's Settings to what you like, there is an Option in the Graphics Settings that if your Graphics Card lacks that function, it will most likely run Poor with lag or Stutter or even crash.

There is no need to Uninstall the Game imo.

Do you have any mods installed?

looks like something tried to dereference -1 so it’s definitely a software problem

as others mentioned above, graphics drivers would be the first place i’d look, whether it up updating them or rolling them back

Your graphics driver tried to access a system reserved memory location, this is why it crashed.
Uninstall your graphics drivers, clear all of them out with DDU (google it, then follow ALL of the instructions) then install the newest drivers for your card.

Everything you said. It's already been done. Nothing helps.

if you changed the graphic card, you can try to delete the config files from the game so that the game detect new hardware and create new config files. since old config files are based on your old gpu.

i suggest uninstall the game and manually delete every files that still exists, except the saves (don't know where they are, you need to search ), and reinstall the game.

I've done everything, it doesn't help. I'm getting a lot of errors.

In general, all these ways I have already done more than once. All the same, there are other errors or this one appears. :steamfacepalm:

Now this error has started to appear often

There should be a graphics driver update that fixes this, depending on the card you use.
